Does anyone have any good advice about searching for scholarships? I have a DD who is a rising senior, DS who is a rising junior and DD who is a rising freshman so very quickly I need to have this figured out. Is it to early for the rising senior to apply for scholarships?
Thanks

Have each one of your kids go on and set up accouns on www.fastweb.com. It will link them to LOTS of scholarships in their fields and email them updates when new ones are announced and deadlines are coming up. The rising senior is DEFINITELY NOT STARTING TOO EARLY!! You can and should start applying for scholarships as early as 7th or 8th grade. They are held in a trust-type situation until payout.

During the year, the senior should settle on schools he/she wishes to apply to, go the those school websites and look for school-specific scholarships. As soon as he/she is accepted, start applying for any applicable college/school related scholarships.

Good luck!
