Hi everyone! Super newbie here and planning our first Disney trip in the middle of July!

I am trying to plan out our day at Hollywood Studios. My husband is a massive Star Wars fan so we want to get as much Star Wars as we can in that one day. We will be traveling with our 9 month old baby.

I was able to book a FastPass for Star Tours and an ADR for the dessert party but other than that, all the other Star Wars things we wanted to do/see are not on the schedule. Things like the March of the First Order, Star Wars: A Galaxy Far Far Away and character meet and greets with Chewbacca and BB8 are not ok the schedule. Are these things not happening in the park anymore?

Unless it's in the "Schedule Unavailable" section of their website, it should be available on a not-too-distant trip. All the things you mentioned, as far as I know, will be available mid-July. I'd look for the current June schedules as a good indication for what they should be in July. Just know they can change them so it would be good to check back once times are released.

Disney just doesn't release final schedules until a few weeks prior (the month before). They are stingy with their scheduling and seem to want as many data points as possible to make their schedules. This puts a larger burden on the park guest with their planning.

I'm also going mid-July.

It is in the schedule unavailable section =/

The schedules for all the Star Wars stuff stops on June 25, so I'm just hoping it's just that they haven't released the schedules yet. Thanks for your help!

Oops. I should clarify by saying in today's unavailable section. I forgot Far, Far Away is, but I believe that's temporary. The rest should be available in today's or this month's schedule. I'm guessing they are giving themselves wiggle room still with some of next month's offerings. I have heard no mention of any of that going away in the short term. It's crazy they leave so much up in the air so close, but that's their M.O. these days.

The stage where they do A Galaxy Far, Far Away is down, but word has it that it will be back mid-June.

This is great news! Thank you! My husband will be thrilled

FYI on A Galaxy Far, Far Away stage show (posted in the Star Wars thread by another Dis user and current cast member, FastPasser):

Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away will be dark through June 15, returning on June 16. When it returns, it will use new mobile performance stages for the performance of the show. The stages will be put in place each morning and removed from the park after the final performance of Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away each evening. This will allow more space for guests to view both projection shows.
