H All,
I am home and resting. It is done with and while I can't exactly say that it went "well," I can say that I am glad I did it (and that it's over). I was there for an hour because they did not want me to leave right away. Apparently I looked extremely pale and they were concerned about fainting. Don't you just love it when people tell you you look like crap?
They are going to call me in "about a week" with the results. In the meantime, I am supposed to have more food with sugar towards the first half of the day when these episodes occur. Do you think insurance will cover trips to Disney for Dole Whips?
Right now, I'm feeling really tired and out of it. I am not sure if it is the potential hypoglycemia that they think I might have or just from the experience at the doc's. The weird thing is that I don't remember much from when I got the bloodwork done. I guess this phobia is worse than I thought.
Thanks again to everyone for listening to me whine. I've received a lot of PMs and messages on FB plus support on this thread and it has been very helpful. I know I sound like the biggest baby, but this phobia is not something I can control. Sean said I did really well today and we pointed out a few differences between this and eight years ago when I last got bloodwork done. I can't wait for the results to come back so I can move on and get better.
Hugs to all,
Nikki
