Snowy-girls:

If you want a little peek check out HHNs website, theres a tv spot video that ll give you a little taster. Plus you ll get to see what ll be going on for the event:thumbsup2

If your not too keen on going but still want to have a look def check it out. HHN does nt start until the end of Sept so no pics are gonna be up any time soon:rolleyes: . If you wanna see some freaky things though check out youtube footage, it ll make you jump but its also a lot of fun to watch

Nah believe me you would'nt :lmao: .
Can't wait for those pics,i will probably be hiding behind a cushion whilst looking at them :rotfl2: .x.
Are you kidding? You don't understand...I love to go on rides with screamers and at HHN someone is usually pulling my shirt from behind. I have to do the houses twice since I'm usually laughing so hard the first time that I miss everything.

:lmao: :rotfl2: .I know it's off topic, but i remember going in to It's Tough To Be A Bug for the first time+had no idea about the sting that gets you in the back-well i screamed my head off :rotfl: and this poor little boy about 3 sitting on his mum's lap screamed+started crying.
You would deff love to be around me on a trip to WDW or US/IOA then if you like screamers-i even let out little screams on Woody's rollercoaster(insert embarrased smilie here) much to my dd's delight who was 3 at the time.x.

I hope for your sake then that you re not there the same time as me & my df. I ve got a very loud high pitched scream, i hate being chased its a silly phobia of mine. Freaks me out when i watch horror films & people get chased so i dread to think what im gonna be like at HHN. I think i ll be a scarers dream:laughing:, talk about easy pickings.
Trust me im guaranteed to give people many laughs, all but me.
I hope when you say people pull your t shirt that thats people that are with you & not strangers. Mind you i ll probably scare myself so much that i ll be grabbing on to strangers especially a round the houses:scared1:
I cant wait for it though, its gonna be one hell of an experience :thumbsup2

Actually if you're interested, here are some pics from last year's event ... the behind the scenes pics will give you an idea of what the houses look like with the lights on, and the others are taken one evening at the event.

My bf was most disappointed that we missed out on HHN last year (the first night was the day we went home!) Me.. Not so much :rolleyes1 We're going to Universal Hollywood this year and i've already said he can go through the house of horrors attraction on his own! I just looked up a HHN video on Youtube and the Bill and Ted show looked awesome, i'd possibly be persuaded to go just for that.. Maybe!! ;)

You guys are gonna have a wicked time:thumbsup2
Im slightly jealous as you re gonna get to see Freddy who i love:lovestruc . Plus Jason & Leatherface. Hollywoods theme for this year was Orlandos for last so it ll make up for him missing out last year.
We ve got Bill & Ted show too at Orlando, plus Rocky Horror & a magician i ve not heard of. Its gonna be a blast.
Im sure you ll have a fab time, your bf might just get to drag you a long in to one of the houses so you can meet one of the main 3 as well:woohoo: . One, two Freddys coming for you:laughing::scared1:

The Rocky Horror Tribute last year was really good but you HAVE to be a RHPS fan or at least know what it's about to enjoy it. We saw people walking out in droves about 15 mins into the show and once the guys were running around in high heels and garter belts, they bolted. The cast worked so hard on that show and I felt bad for them.

I love Rocky Horror, went to see the stage show a few years a go & it was fab:thumbsup2 . Gutted though as i did nt realise you could dress up for it, me & my sis were the only people in the audience who did nt dress up. Richard O Brien was the narrator too
Thats one film i must of seen 100's of times
Am hoping that they ll get the crowd to do the TimeWarp, dont think my df will do it but i sure will :woohoo:

This show is different but you can certainly do the TW if you want. Macraven and I did the show last year and she wanted to dance but I didn't. They have the show in the Beetlejuice area and the show only lasts about 15 - 20 mins.

I agree. I went with my mum last year who had never seen RHPS. She absolutely loved it. Unfortunately we went on the last night of HHN. If not, then I know we would have been back before we left. Again we are going this year and RHPS is the one thing my mum is desperate to see.

IMHO, I would like to see US implement an age limit on the event. Especially with the content of the event, plus alcohol flowing as freely as it does - it's really not the event for anyone under the age of 18.
Bonny

I'm going to strongly disagree with this. Lots of teens love these events and shouldn't be excluded IMO. (Besides drinking isn't allowed for 18 year olds so shouldn't that be 21 and up if alcohol is a consideration?) Alcohol aside, my 15 year old adores haunted houses and would give anything to attend this event. He's a nice kid and I'd hate to see him excluded from these things just because some people might be drinking. :confused3

If you're going again this year, post your dates on the following thread since a lot of DISers are going:

I dont think they should stop teens as i started loving horror from my early teens & know i would of loved to go to this back then. I think people are referring to small children more, familys appear at HHN with young kids. Its not really appropriate for them, sure Universal says its not suitable but i guess some people dont realise. I think like some others on previous threads have said, people sometimes think its gonna be similar to MNSSHP & think it ll have a family theme to it. They should just not allow very young children, teens are fine though.

This is the only thread that stayed civil on this subject:thumbsup2

Thank you all!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. Thanks for allowing us all to have a civil discussion. We can have differing opinions and that seems to be ok. Thanks for letting some of us invade your forum. :woohoo:
