Matt and I were just playing with Reilly - my apricot poodle - he's the dog that sticks by my side through EVERYTHING and has been my comfort through all my pain. We noticed a gray raised bump on his umm.. doggie boy part.. that was not there before. We just called the vet and they said to come right down with him.

I'm scared to death that something bad is wrong with Reilly. I'm so upset I'm shaking like a leaf and crying my eyes out. Please...say a prayer for my little shadow. God hasn't been especially willing to listen to my prayers lately.. maybe you all can convince him I've had enough heartache for awhile. :worried: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

I have a little boy minituare poodle, and I know how sad you must feel.

I hope the best for Reilly.. who sounds like a real cutie!

Keep us posted!

 Prayers for Reilly! I hope it goes well and he's fine.

Please keep us posted. I hope everything works out ok for you and Reilly. :(

{HUGS}to you
I hope everything is just fine for your Reilly

I hope everything is OK with Reilly. He sounds like a sweetie. Prayers are with you all.

I guess I should have waited a little longer...but I didn't know where else to turn and diving through Google to try to find out something can be terrifying. I was more scared at this than all the bad test results I get back for myself combined!

Matt just called from the vets office. It's a glandular cyst. Non cancerous. They popped it and got the puss out and put some stuff on it and told us to keep putting neosporin on it.

You guys (and the vet for that matter) must think I am the biggest baby out there. I just can't imagine losing my little buddy at 4 yrs old. It's one thing when a dog gets older. It's sad but you have prepared yourself. The last time I lost a dog unexpectantly at a young age (5 yrs old and I came home to find her in a pool of blood) my body went into shock and literally began to shut down.

((((((((hugs))))))))))) thank you all for your hugs and prayers. I knew I could turn here for a little comfort while I was freaking out. Thank goodness the vet saw him ASAP with no waiting and I was only in doggie mommy h e double hockeysticks for an hour.

You guys are the greatest!:grouphug:

I don't think your a wuss, you were just worried about your little furbaby. Glad to hear everything is ok.

Youre not a wuss at all! we all worry about our babies furry or not :)

Glad he is well :)

Pets are definitely family members. :) They're always cheerful, rarely in a bad mood. Hmmm...sounds better than some humans.  Glad Reilly is okay and it's just a cyst easily taken care of. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, Reilly!

You poor thing! I have a very good idea what you went through, (lost my 16 yr. old Poodle in April) but HOW WONDERFUL to have gotten such a great outcome. Hugs and kisses to your sweet furbaby. puckerup:

I am so relieved now! :) And another nice thing. The vet didn't even charge us to take care of it! I knew I always liked them :)
