Scared of summer crowds!!

I love WDW!! We just got a 40% off pin and we already had our January trip planned with our visa discount. I am spoiled I know. We usually only go once a year and in January. We live four hours from Orlando so we don't mind the winter trip. My kids are little and I always said I'd rather change a dirty diaper in the winter months than summer at WDW. But now we have this pin. I would really like to use it in the summer. Our only option is June with our schedule this year. How bad is it going to be with June crowds??? My husband says he would rather just go to the beach and save it for another long weekend later in the year. WWYD??

I've been to WDW in June and over 4th of July weekend and the crowds are manageable. The key though is to get to the park before rope drop and have a good plan of action.

what we did was to arrive at rope drop and ride the most popular rides first. About mid afternoon (3pm) we would head back to the hotel and spend some time at the pool. Around 7 Pm we would head back to the parks and take advantage of evening EMH.

Early in June may be managable, schools in the northeast don't get out until mid-June at the earliest. Around here it is normally after the 20th.
