Scared & need your thoughts -DD is getting notes

It sounds like you are headed in the right direction - but WHY are you waiting to see the police in the morning - please go now!!! This is NOT something to just wait around on!!

If my child got a note that said you will die - I would be at the police station before I went anywhere else!!!!!! I hate to say this and scare you - but tomorrow morning could be too late!

:grouphug:

I hope this person gets in some very serious trouble when they are caught.

hugs to you and DD! - what an awful, unimaginable thing you're dealing with.

My DH and I and most of our family play World of Warcraft and none of the language is familar. It is not a particularly dark game either.

There is a newer game along the same lines called "Guild Wars", I will check it out and see if I can find you anything.

I feel so badly for you DD.... to your whole family.

My gosh, how scary. I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through. How is your daughter doing with all this? :grouphug:

I am so sorry that you are going through this. I have 2 DDs 8 and 10 and I cannot imagine the anguish that you must feel. :grouphug:

I am so sorry to hear this. If it's a child doing it, that child needs serious help.

Here's some positive energy for you. Stay strong.

I am very afraid for your daughter. She must be terrified. I would insist that the police do more than meet you at the school tomorrow morning. They need to do something NOW! You all need to come up with some sort of serious plan of action! And to tell you the truth, I am not sure my child would be going to school tomorrow.

Hugs, hugs and more hugs.

Denae

Big hugs :grouphug: and you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us updated...I'm starting to worry even more now with this most recent note! :sad1:

Personally at this point, with that last note....I would keep my child home. Call the police liason & if he/she doesn't already know about that note, they should & yes, I would also go to the police immediately.

Oh boy...and sometimes I think I have troubles having a special needs child! My life is a cake walk in comparison to what you're going through!

I don't know if it's comforting but you sure do have a lot of cyber support, now lets get the police just as involved!

:grouphug:

I'm so sorry you're going through this, how frightening. I agree with everyone else, get police action asap.

Fingers crossed its just an idiotic kid playing around. But in case it isn't, you must take full action.

Meanwhile :grouphug: and look after your DD

Where is her bookbag kept? In a locker? In her room?

The 5th graders in our school have their bookbags on a hook in their room, and there just aren't any kids wandering from room to room.

Something's just not adding up, here, and I can't quite put my finger on what it is. Everyone's watching her bookbag, and her, and TWO more letters showed up.

She is okay but is hugging me alot.

DH wants to see what is going to happen tomorrow with the police.By talking to them we can see what they will do. Believe my DH will not let this go.
Chloe is safe with us now. I have been going into the classroom to get her after school. I will be in the school tomorrow morning as I help in the library.

I admit I didn't take this as seriously last night but after the note today I agree with everyone who is saying you need to go to the police now!!! Even after you reported this and the principal and teacher stayed until 7pm trying to figure out a plan, this person still has unrestricted access to your daughter and her booksack. Something more dangerous than a note could be placed in there.

This may be a child playing a mean joke, but again it may not. Either way this person is either dangerous or in desperate need of attention. Desperate people can and will do desperate things!

backpack is being kept behind the teacher desk now.

You actually don't know that this is even a child. It could be a janitor or even a teacher. You never know. There are some really troubled kids in the world so just because it is probably a kid it is still nothing to play with. I understand that her backpack is now being kept behind the desk, but that's not helping the situation any. They aren't threatening to kill her backpack, they are threatening HER life. I'm not sure why you are waiting so long to go to the police, but I will definitely being thinking of your daughter and praying for her safety.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but is there any chance that your daughter is doing this herself for some attention? I know I did some crazy stuff as a child just to get my mom's attention.

I am sorry you and DD are going through this. I have to say though, that I don't really think putting the backpack behind the teacher's desk is going to help. They are not threatening the backpack, they are threatening your DD.

I can see waiting until tomorrow as she will be with you from now until then. This sounds so scary and you seem pretty calm which I am sure will help your DD be able to feel better. Hugs to you and her!

I'm not so she it's a kid either. It could be a teacher or anyone working at the school.

I would have been in contact with the police long before now. The 1st note about the bike riding and now the death note are most disturbing to me. Someone is watching her outside of school and that is very scary!

While I see where she may think that her child is safe b/c she is with her - she was with her dad when she was riding her bike and this person saw her -

and if some psycho shows up her house out of control or with a gun - are they really prepared to handle the situation? I know that I would not be!

Go to the police and don't take her to school tomorrow, don't stay at home either, because chances are he/her knows where she lives.
