Has anyone scrapped Polaroid photos? I am sorting through my old photos & found some Polaroids. Do you scrap them like any other phot? I was thinking maybe I should copy the photo & not scrap the actual Polaroid. Any experience? thoughts?

I had two from when DS's were born, the nurses had taken them and it was their first pictures (they were premature). I did use them when I scrapped their photos last year, but I used photo corners. Scanning them sounds like a good idea too.

You can use photo corners (as suggested), scan or photo copy.
I have used them with adhesive tape on the back and stuck them in my book.

Just DON"T CUT THEM! :(

Right, what ever you do, don't cut them because the "stuff" inside isn't safe for scrapbooks.

I would take them to the picture kiosk and make copies of them. I just wouldn't chance mixing them in with all of my other photos.

Thank you for all the quick replies! When my husband got home, he, too, said don't cut it! My gut feeling is to scan the Polaroid photos & print them out. We recently bought a printer with archival ink, so that should work. Thank you again!

I personally would scan or take to walmart type place and have a copy made for scrapbook. I have had polaroid seal break open and ruin scrapbook pages.

Another reason I suggest that you copy them is that they tend to fade faster than traditional pictures (least the ones I have)

you can adjust the brightness of the colors if you scan them too -
if they are like the ones I had they are faded :)
DO NOT CROP them though ;)
