Thank you for sharing. I was aware of the cement reefs being made & placed, I just had no idea they had turned some into burial sites.
This is something I bet my family or parents might be interested in as they are huge lovers of all things ocean.
After looking at the site & how they do it, I was confused by your picture of what appears to be the urn going into the water. But I see you explained that later on. So is the urn placed into the reef / vault, or do they release the ashes onto the reef & bring the urn back up?
The site made it sound like they lower the reef with the ashed already in it, so I was confused on how they open it while underwater already & try to add ashes to it. I guess adding an urn to it underwater would be easier.
My brother is a diver & has his own boat. I see business opportunity here.

But not as lovely and blue here in New England. Its much boring looking up here in these waters.
