i hate it when people play the race card and i disagree with affirmative action, i know people who got full rides to the same college i did and are going into the same program but got lower scores and grades than me, but got it because they were black. i think things like this should be given based off of how hard you work, not the color of your skin. its time we did away with affirmative action.

Anyway,

I hate that I was so stupid Sunday and went to WI Dells thinking it wouldn't be crowded. (At least I had the sense to go off park and go to Uno's pizza).

I hate that I can't find a dress for my nieces wedding the end of Sept. The weather can be extremely hot, or cold or in-between.

I love that I can leave work at 2:30 and go swim laps at our underutilized village pool. No one likes it cause it has a sand bottom-it is still chlorinated.

I love that Wisconsin is finally having a decent summer and no mosquito's.

A plug for GWB-I know he is lying and will reinstate the draft. There is no one left to send over to Iraq. Our WI National Guard Reserverse just got called up this past June. They will be gone 18 months.

I am pro-choice, but I don't believe in abortion being used simply for birth control all the time.

I have no specific religion. I don't believe in God, Jesus, or any of that stuff. I have never read the Bible and don't intend to. I live my life the way I want to, not according to any religion.

I believe that the London police were not in the wrong in shooting that man down two weeks after the major London attack. He should have stopped when told to, not run away, especially at the height of the attacks.

I don't like foul language at all - well, I don't mind it if it's just a slip of the tongue like when you stub your toe or something, but I hate it when people use it continously in an ordinary conversation with someone.

I hate people who judge you because you choose not to have children.

I hate parents who force their children to go on the more intense and scary rides at theme parks, when it's obvious that the children are scared and really don't want to ride.

I strongly believe that cigarettes should be made illegal everywhere.

I hate drunk drivers.

I despise people who insist on wearing clothes that obviously don't fit them properly.

I hate the cooking and property shows on TV - they are soooooo boring!

I hate Lizzie McGuire, and Hilary Duff as a singer. Who told her that she could sing???

I hate Eminem, and most rap music in general, but especially Eminem.

I hate the fact that people tend to judge ALL suicide bombers as evil and deranged. Some of them have had their families kidnapped or tortured, and therefore they are left with no choice. However, that said, there are many who are evil and deranged and think that if they blow themselves and others around them up that they will become martyrs for their country.

I think "political correctness" has gotten entirely ridiculous.

Gas prices are beyond ridiculous.

It drives me crazy when clothes in magazines/catalogs/advertisements/whatever are only shown on women wearing the smallest possible size... I think most women would rather see what the clothes look like on real people than what they look like on models.

On the same note, I don't like how at the beginning of the summer when magazines and tv shows and whatnot are showing "what swimsuits are hot this season," they only show skimpy bikinis... the average person reading or watching probably is not interested in a skimpy bikini!

I dislike political parties, and the fact that we have a dual party system, because I don't agree with either one, and I think it's unfair that voters essentially get only 2 choices.

I don't think Hilary Clinton stands a chance at being elected president.

I think John McCain would make a good president.

I think it's dumb that at the restaurant I work at, holding the door for every customer is supposed to be more important than everything else. If I were going to a restaurant to eat, I'd much rather be seated in a timely manner than be standing there waiting for a host because they're all occupied holding the doors open!

I don't like stereotypes about teenagers (teen girls are all emotional, social climbing, boy crazy, rebellious, etc.) because the majority of them don't fit me.

I think that when registering for the DIS, I should have picked a username that did not reflect my undying love for a popular boyband... especially since that undying love is rather dead.

I dislike it when I have to explain things like homosexuality to my children - who don't even understand what heterosexuality is - while they are reading posts that have nothing to do with homosexuality, but posters have made a point to put information on their homosexual lives in their signatures for my children to read. I don't thinks it's approprite to let the world know my sexual business so why people think I want to know their's is incomprehensible.

"When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth. After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." (Genesis 5:3-4)

Looks like there were more than just 2 kids, and some of those kids were girls.

I hate it when people say that racial profiling and closed borders are the answer. Apparently these people have forgotten about Oklahoma City and that was done by an American. Also, unless the person saying this is 100% Native American, you should be glad for open borders or else your behind wouldn't be here.

I hate that stem cell research isn't more accepted and promoted in this country. As it stands now, abortion is legal, wouldn't it be great if we could use aborted fetuses to find cures for AIDS, cancer, etc...? Even if you feel that abortion is the death of a child, why not turn it into something positive?

Legallize marajuana. I hate that we focus so much on cracking down on marajuana and teaching our children not to use it that we don't see the fact crack cocaine is rapidly spreading itself through the suburbs and no one cares.

I hate that we don't have a universal health care system in this country.

I hate that homosexuals don't have the same rights as everyone else just because of some people's bigotry or religious beliefs, which have NO PLACE in the laws of our country.

I hate it when people say "first available" at restaurants and then glare at me for smoking in the smoking section.

I hate that there are only 2 hospitals in the state of Ohio that will give out the Morning After Pill, no questions asked.

I hate that hospitals/pharmacists can still turn you away for prescriptions based on their personal beliefs.
