Say what? Another girls only trip? Yes... *updated 5/4*

This is my first pre-trip/trip report on here I'll do by best to be organized and not bore you to death . I can be quite chatty when I'm excited about things.

This will be our 4th trip to Disney World and our 2nd girls only trip... NO BOYS ALLOWED! It will be our first time going during Halloween and Food & Wine. I blame my sister really.... she is going in less than 30 days and I haven't been in over two years. I'm dying to go LOL! I'm hoping for some sort of discount... ANYTHING but no such luck yet. I can't even get a AAA room-only discount right now I'm running out of time for the ADR's I want too. *biting my nails*

My sister caught the bug after seeing my pics and hearing me rave about Disney. She will be leaving for her third trip next month. So it seems we feed off one another . She went last year during Halloween time and that was my next goal so here we are.... planning a trip during Halloween time. It's perfect since my daughter will be on Fall break most of the time, only missing two days out of the week. Next time I want to go during Christmas time. Maybe that can be another family trip?!?!? A girl can dream right?

Right now I'm begging you Disney to give a code/discount of some kind for OCT. I will pay full price because I want to go but I would be a happier camper if it didn't cost so much. I'd prefer to stay at CBR again over the POP but I will do what I have to Airfare alone is 1/2 of what the hotel package is I'm going to go ahead and pay for airfare as I can and hope a good deal comes along very soon. I'm running out of time for the coveted CRT adr though

Plus I'd really love a new camera

So for now I'm back chatting on Disboards and feeling the magic again. I'm stoked for MNSSHP and Food & Wine, first time for both!!

June/July 2007 we went on our first family vacation, EVER. It was exciting for all of us. We split our time between Magic Kingdom, both Disney water parks, Disney Quest, and Sea World. We stayed off-site and did the "scheduled bus" thing which we will never ever do again. It works for some, just not us. However we still had a great time. We celebrated 4th of July and my daughter's birthday while there = WIN!

April 2008 we decided to stay on-site and visit all four Disney parks. We did do one day at Universal also. This is where the girls and boys began to differ on things . My husband and son did NOT want to do the character meals and/or the meet and greets. *sigh* So at the end of this trip it was decided that from here on out, if us girls wanted Disney we would go solo. We still had a magical time but it wasn't without some tension along the way. This was also the trip where our teenage son went to/from the parks/hotel on his own for two out of the five days we were there. We stayed at The Pop.

Feb/March 2009 my daughter and I went on our first "girls only" trip. It was a last minute thing, booked with the 4/3 deal w/gift card upon arrival. FANTASTIC DEAL!!!! I really wish they would bring this back.... please, please, please do hear me Disney?!?!? This also allowed for us to stay at a moderate resort. We chose CBR. It was a no-brainer since my daughter LOVES the beach and pirates As much as I love my guys, this was the best vacation yet...... sort of !

No I didn't have to hear the whining of the men but it was cold/rainy for most of our trip and we only got to enjoy the resort the last two days of our trip. We still had a magical time but I will not go at this time of year again.

Unfortunately my SD card is gone and has been for a while now (I really think our puppy at the time ate it) and I only have a handful of pics from this trip

Looks like I'll be driving 2.5 hours to Dallas for flights. Saving $150 on AA vs. SW (including parking/gas/luggage fees) I'll only need to check one bag

Flights really ARE insane right now. I'm so thankful I booked mine when I did, there is not WAY we could get the same deal now, and I doubt things will get any better over the summer months.

This is what I've been dealing with for a week now. Something came up last week and I almost thought this might not happen. Yesterday we found a solution to that issue so we are back on board

Well it seems plans have changed... for the better though My sister called me this morning and asked about going in Dec with her for my niece's birthday. So it seems we are now going Monday after Thanksgiving thru first weekend in Dec It will still be a girls only trip!!

I told her I didn't care when I went AS LONG as I went
