Savor the Savanna - which time to choose

Hi all! We are planning to do Savor the Savanna in November sometime the 20th through the 23rd. The tour times are 4:00 pm and 5:15 pm. Sunset on those dates is 5:29 pm. For those that have done this tour before which time would you recommend for the best experience? Is the Boma portion near the end of the tour or closer to the beginning? TIA!

We did the 5:15 PM one in late Dec 2018. It really depends on what you're looking for --- they have binoculars but there was maybe 15 minutes where you would see much with them (because of the lack of light.) My son loved using the night vision glasses though so it was still a really good experience. With that said, this year I'm trying the 4PM tour in December.
