My husband got a carry case today at around 3:00; maybe they ran out later? Purple kyber crystals were gone at Dok Onder's though.

The cases were out for several weeks, noce to see those back!

Now that you mention it, they told my husband at check-in that the purple crystals were gone and actually offered to let him cancel if that wasn’t okay with him. He wanted blue though. Hopefully they’re back in stock by the time of your trip!

I mean, sure. Kids get their hearts set on all kinds of things that can’t happen for one reason or another. As the parent of a 7-year-old, it’s my job to help manage expections, and then sooth disappointed feelings and help him adjust to actual outcomes. Comes with the job.

The reality is that supply issues are An Issue everywhere right now. I haven’t been able to get water chestnuts for six months for some reason. If the only thing DL is missing are purple kyber crystals, they’re in good shape

I was looking for used lightsaber cases today. I heard they were sold out and my ds will be making a lightsaber. I wouldn't want him to have to bring it home in a plastic bag.

Dollar store pool noodle for the blade. Works amazing and is super safe. Just unscrew it from the base before putting it in.
