If you really love Disney and are concerned about it's future, please go to www.savedisney.com and give your support to Roy Disney and Mr. Gold.
It's entirely possible that whoever posted the thread removed it on their own -- maybe they posted to the wrong board or wanted to rewrite or something. I hardly think the moderators took it off. There have been at least a dozen threads throughout the boards that talk about Roy and savedisney.com. Those have all survived.Originally posted by lenshanem
Someone posted a thread this morning regarding savedisney.com on another board on thsi site and it was magically deleted. I find that very odd. Don't understnad why thsi happened? Why could Roy's new website not be mentioned on one of the boards?!? Not to mention, Roy's website even has a link to the DIS.
Adding to Murdoch's woes are reports suggesting his second-in-command, Fox Group chairman and chief executive Peter Chernin, has been in secret talks about replacing Michael Eisner as Disney chairman and chief exec when the latter's contract expires in 2006
I emailed them suggesting they sell buttons and/or T-shirts. Should help spread the word while at the parks.
The post referenced was closed (not removed) because there is a rule on the boards about using them to collect signatures (virtual or otherwise). These boards are for the purposes of discussing Disney, not starting petitions, and I am required to enforce the rules - however much I may be personally in favor or against a specific topic. If I remember, one of the moderators (I think located in San Francisco) deemed it inappropriate and locked it out.

It is a fair rule, considering that the DIS has some business sponsors who may or may not want to be perceived as supporting a "cause".
