Savannah view AVK, right now?

I arrive in 10 days. Booked 11 months out...just a one night stay before moving to BWV. I haven't been notified that I'm getting standard view, aka sunset savannah. Will I definitely get another savannah since it's so close to arrival? We're not showing up at the resort before 4PM...that's why I'm questioning.

If you haven't been notified yet, I'd think you are safe. Are the animals off the Sunset Savanna now? When we were there, they still were on. The curator told us they would try to limit the time the animals were off to a couple of weeks, so they might still be there. If you aren't in concierge, there are a LOT of savanna view rooms on the other savannas. We had Uzima on the Zebra trail,and we had wonderful views of animals all day because our room was right near a watering hole.

Had a friend who stayed on Sunset Savanna 2 weeks ago. We told on ressie and at check-in no animals.

She told me the giraffes and zebras didn't get the memo as they wandered near their area during each day of their trip!!

Gotta love those giraffes and zebras!

That would fit with what the curator told me too. I doubt all the animals will be gone from Sunset until about April.

Oh Diane, that's a wonderful picture. This one night stay is just for DSis and me in memory of a DF who can only be with us in spirit now.
