Saturdays in December

Just wondering if you find that Saturdays are quite a bit busier than the other days of the week in early December, and if so is this limited to MK? I am putting together our trip schedule, and it seemed that the last time we went in Dec 2009, that the Saturday seemed especailly busy compared to the other days, just wondering if others have observed this. Thanks

I tend to agree with you that Saturdays in early to mid-December are busier than other days for the most part. Have you considered subscribing to the Touring Plans website? They will be able to tell you the best days for each park, overall crowd levels you can expect at Disney during your visit, etc. They are a great resource!

Weekends in December are popular with Florida residents enjoying the "Disney Holidays" at the parks. Mid-week the first couple of weeks in December can be less crowded.

We were there the first week of December 2010. The parks were dead during the week but on Saturday the 4th, the park was at least twice as busier than during the week.

To get into the Flynn & Rapunzel meet & greet (so that you could color and do the dance part) there was a 2 hour wait.
