Good morning Somethings.....

My baby is sick He started out with a temp of 103.6 and we fought that for 2 days. Now he seems better but is having diarrhea a little bit and his temp ranges from 99.4 to 101.6. I'm tired and I just want him well. I will call the doctor today but I know what they are going to say....Its just a virus! ug...I hate that phrase.

Any prayers for my boy would be greatly appreciated.

Kelsie said the ACT Test was very hard. I guess that's why you take it several times. Next time at least she'll know a little of what to expect.

I have to go to the Dentist today. Anyone want to change places with me? I cracked a crown about a month ago and today the permanent one goes in.

Shannon I love the pictures. I've never been to DisneyLand before. Maybe one day I'll get there.

Good morning Sassies! Christmas was fun, except I think next year will keep the Jimmy Buffett Margarita machine in the closet. Wowza, there was some goofy adults running around my house.

Tricia, at least the worst part is over for your crown. I have fear of dentist chairs though, comes from too many teeth pulled for braces I believe. We only got to take the ACT's once. I wish I would have had another shot at it!

For those of us who never see that white stuff you speak of what is lake effect snow?

Lake effect snow is cold air moving across the warmer lake in our case Lake Michigan. It picks up some of the water and dumps large amounts of snow on the driveway, roads and yards. The other side of the state usually gets a lot less snow because of lake effect and the way the winds usually blow.

Tricia, Lake effect snow = cold air across large bodies of water picks up the water and drops mass amounts of now frozen water at your house. We call said frozen water snow.

YES, Lake effect snow! I live RIGHT on Lake Erie. I can see it from my window as a matter of fact. Normally it blows right over us and goes further south, but this time of year we get nailed with it early.

And... Can I be in Becca's family? We never have a margarita machine at our family functions! The only excitement are my sister's tantrums and Uncle Bob's chronic gas.

Off to help out in Riley's classroom today, then taking him to the dentist. Afterward... who knows? Cleaning? Laundry? Make dinner that no one will end up eating? It's a crazy life we lead!
