Tricia-- Sorry 'bout the dental work. Never much fun, and ALWAYS a wallet buster! And yes, the diet is much easier now. (I say this as I am preparing to leave for Chick-Fil-A in a little bit for lunch with Bonnie. But, in my defense, I do get 2 Flex days a week. I just have to get the grilled chicken!) Bon is nice enough to pick me up, and then take me to get Riley from school, since my car is in the shop getting new brakes. If she's nice, I may buy her A chicken nugget. Just one!

Hope everyone's football games tonight are WINNERS. I have a book club meeting. I chose the book, and I have the sneaking suspicion that everyone hated it! I'll be wearing Kevlar just in case!

Hi everyone!!!

Kate goes back to school on Monday monday monday!! hoorayyyy....... I mean..awww shucks...i am sure gonna miss her OK OK...,it isn't that bad, but she is really bored.


Joey moment and itom 151 on the I never thought I would have to say this as a Mom list......"No Joey, Youmaynot put your peanut in the vacuum cleaner hose while it is on"...........I'm thinking that would hurt....but then again, I don't have a peanut so what do I know?

Whenever your kids are out of control, you can take comfort from the thought that even God's omnipotence did not extend to God's kids.

After creating heaven and earth, God created Adam and Eve. And the first thing He said to them was: "Don't."

"Don't what?" Adam asked.

"Don't eat the Forbidden Fruit." God replied.

"Forbidden fruit? We got Forbidden Fruit? Hey, Eve..we got Forbidden Fruit!"

"No way!"

"Where?"

"Don't eat that fruit!" said God.

"Why?"

"Because I am your Creator and I said so!" said God, wondering why he hadn't stopped after making the elephants.

A few minutes later God saw the kids having an apple break and was angry.

"Didn't I tell you not to eat that fruit?" the 'First Parent' asked.

"Uh huh," Adam replied.

"Then why did you?"

"I dunno," Eve answered.

"She started it!" Adam said.

"Did not!"

"DID so!"

"DID NOT!"

Having had it with the two of them, God's punishment was that Adam and Eve should have children of their own...thus the pattern was set, and it has never changed.

Hey there, hags! Today we went to the craft festival. It was fun! I got some jewelry, and some whimsical clay earrings of the holiday variety (witch & black cat; turkey and pumpkin pie, Santa and Mrs. Claus). Also a big huge snowman made out of a tree trunk...it is soooo cute. DH was actually being charming and we had a good time. Sampled quite a few wares of the edible variety too, and I am stuffed!
