The doctor did say that in spite of his horrible eating habits, that he seemed to be getting enough nutrition to grow. He was just barely below the 50th percentile on the growth charts.

I need a haircut so stinkin' bad! If you saw the pics at the pie hole I am sure you noticed my bushy mop. Tomorrow is the day, my friends! I think I'm gonna have her take a good inch off. It needs it. I'm also gonna have her lighten up my red lowlights to a light brown, I think. They no look so good on the pics!

What is everyone having for lunch? Imo try to eat something healthy, but whilst grocery shopping I sipped a Starbucks peppermint mocha, which ruined my diet. So I am torn betwixt getting back on the wagon at lunch time or just calling this day a bust. I have an hour to decide.

I have been watching alot of the Olympics. Have ya'll been watching the commercials? Some are really really good. For the most part I have been recording and then playing it back so I can avoid commercials, but then I started catching a few and they are really funny. My favorites are the Chevy commercials. For some reason it really cracks me up when the gas pumps flatten tires, lock people out, turn on all the controls. I also enjoy the 24 hour fitness commercials that show the Olympians against the regular people....like the volleyball one with all the guys.

Please tell me I am not the only one getting a kick out of the commercials

Howdy! I've been busy with payroll all day, and finally finished! Gertie usually does payroll, but I do it when she's gone and it's been so long I did this one just for a refresher.

Bonnie~whilst and betwixt? Are you copying Madonna and her fake English accent? (I know-you love English accents!!) Actually, I just finished a mystery novel by an English author and I had to get the dictionary out a few times! But it was most enjoyable. I especially love the term "on holiday". It sounds so much better than on vacation. All right then Bonnie?

Heather~I'm sorry but the commercials have been annoying the crap outta me!! I think mainly cuz there's just so darn many of them, and they show the same ones over and over. I must say that I secretly enjoy the Gas-X commercial-"Your son Rip is on line Toot"! That makes me laugh every time. I'm so immature! (there was actually a whole thread on this last week) Course the Toot makes me think of our Bonnie, too! Not cuz I have personal knowledge of how gassy she may or may not be, though!

I saw a little of the equestrian stuff yesterday, and I think I'm glad I missed most of it. The horses kept falling on the jumps, and I just can't stand to watch that! After the Kentucky Derby when they had to euthanize that horse I have a hard time watching that stuff.

Kendall has been doing homework for 2 hours and fifteen minutes. She isn't even done yet. I'm sure some of it is getting used to doing it again. She's at a new school this year (Jr. High) and is learning that it's a lot tougher than middle school. I'm sure that next week will be better.

Angus, you are cracking me up with the mocking! Can't a girl be a faux Brit? is that so wrong? Oh, and that Gas X commercial cracks me up too! DH and I roll when it comes on.

Heather, thanks for pretending my hair does not look like a bush. I cannot WAIT to get it cut and weaved (woven?) today. It has no shape to it at all.

Tricia, sucks about all that homework, lady! Hope it's not always like that!

Bex, no, not exposing girls and belly in public, but you never know what might come about in private. I didn't lay out yesterday though. Maybe today after my hair appt. Oh, and BTW, we are still waiting for your hair pics, lady!!!

Judi, glad you enjoyed the pics. You seem the type that might enjoy fondling wax statues right along with me.... Any more PMs?

Bonnie, I will post some pics later if I get a chance. I want to take the pics whilst I am in the sun so you can really see my reds/purples. I love it and I don't miss the blonde at all, I especially won't miss having my roots start showing. I always feel good about myself when I get my hair done. I'd do it once a week if I could!

Heather, most of the commercials are annoying me too for some reason. But I love the gas X one. I laugh everytime. Yes, I am a teenage boy for real. Glad Joey's appointment went well and there is nothing to be uber concerned about.

Angie, can you add me to the payroll when you do it? Not a lot, just a little would be great! My mil is having back surgery at the beginning of October, she has been having lots of trouble with it for 2 years and finally found a dr. that is good. She's having shock absorbers put in and a fusion. She can commiserate with you and your pain. She is so good at hiding it, I don't know that we have had any idea how much pain she is really in. My favorite english words are snogging and shagging. I think they sound so funny.

Judi, how are things? What's on Cole's agenda today? Does she start school on Sept 2nd too? I haven't even started back to school clothes shopping. I have all their school supplies though.

Tricia, Kendall will get back in the groove soon. Its hard to get back into the good study habits at first, at least it was for me. Maybe I should have made the boys do more school work during the summer. Who am I kidding, I should have made them do some school work during the summer. I make them read, but thats about it.

Good morning sassy things! The rain woke me up at 2:30 this morning. It was lightening and thundering like crazy. At least it stopped before school time. Two days in a row it was raining when the kids got dropped off. I had to meet them in my car.
