Hi Tricia! Glad the baseball game was fun for Colin. Are you doing anything fun for the last few days of summer? I can't believe your kids go back next week already. We have another month, they go back September 2nd. I'm not ready for Justin to be gone all day this year.:sad2:

I really wanted to do something fun with them today but Kelsie has been working (the last couple of days) at a local school to get service hours. She needed 20 and she is getting her last 4 this afternoon.

Next week we have a great schedule. NOT! Monday it's the Orthodontist, Tuesday back to the Dr. for the second round of the Gardysil (sp:confused: ) shots for both Kelsie and Kendall and Wednesday they get hair cuts. What a way to end the summer.

Colin just walked in. I had a quiet house until just now. We got in really late because of the game and all the kiddies are still sleeping. I think my quiet just ended.

Is everyone with Toots today? Well, I know Tricia is doing all the fun back to school things;)

Becca has a hot date. Yes the bookstore will be sweltering:laughing:

The FoP's are hearing the joys of camp.

Has Astro run away to meet Rooby Roo? Has Heather gone to get batteries for Joey's new game?:scared1:

Angie, enjoy your visit.

Hi Rella, Shannon, Kimmy, Kari and all the cool people out there :teeth:

Hi ladies! I'm baaaaaack! We had a great time, and I am so sick of chocolate I never wanna eat it again! Still had a blast at Hershey chocolate world though! My mom really enjoyed Amish country. We all got excited each time we saw an amish person or one of their buggies! We went to the Amish Experience, and toured an amish home and learned a lot about their lifestyle. Also watched that movie, "Jacob's choice" on that five screen interractive theater. The farm B&B was a lot of fun, the girls loved feeding the animals and playing on the tire swing and catching fireflies. We found a tiny baby bunny that was being attacked by a cat, which had grabbed it by the throat with its teeth. Caitlin save the bunny and we put it in a cage overnight and this morning they searched around and found the mama bunny and reunited the baby and mama. They felt all good about themselves. Today we went to Intercourse and Bird-in-hand and went shopping for Amish crafts. Bought a couple of things but not too much. Then we drove home and got involved in some hideous traffic! We were stuck in one area for an hour and a half and only went four miles in that time. No fun a'tall. But overall a great trip!

I just wanna go to bed early, but I promised heather I'd take her to the midnight release party at Borders and get our copy of New Dawn! Woot! We are leaving at 10:30. I do want to go but I am sleepy. It wears me out to travel.

How are you hags doing?

Hey, there, Sassy hags! Bonnie, it sounds like you had a great trip! You did a lot more in Amish country than I did when I went last year. We took BamBam up to ride on the Strasburg Railroad, which was a lot of fun. We passed through Intercourse and looked around but I did not know there was a tour! I love tours! I would have gone for sure. Did you get me a Krackel bar? Just because you are sick of chocolate, missy, doesn't mean that I am!:rotfl:

My boys found a baby bunny in our yard the other day too! It was no bigger than a softball and they just came upon it and started to pet it! I was worried that the mom would not accept it back after they had touched it. Glad to hear that might not be the case!

Barney came home from camp today, full of stories and exhausted. He and his buddy (who is moving to CT. next week:sad1: ) had a great time together. I missed him but not as much as in previous years - he was so excited to go and I was so happy for him and sure he'd have a great experience that it seemed to overshadow any sadness I had about him not being home. But, I am glad he is home now and we are REALLY looking forward to going to the beach next week.:thumbsup2

See you all in the a.m.!

Good Saturday Morning

Welcome Back Bonnie, glad to hear you had a fun time.

So glad Barney is home Wilma, but I would like to see a picture of Bam Bam's dancing tomato. Now that is creative art.

How is Midnight madness at book stores? Anything like black Friday?

Hi Tricia, Heather, Julie, Rella, Shannon, Angie, Kimmy, Yoda

Morning Sassies!

Hi Judi, want some coffee?

Bonnie your trip sounds wonderful. So did you come home with lots of chocolate for future times when you just have to have it? I remember bringing home lots of chocolate and ornaments, tshirts and a few stuffed animals.

Wilma I'm glad to hear that Barney had a great time at camp. Sorry his friend is moving away. That must be really hard on him.

So Becca how was the movie?

Oh Heather where are you?

Hi to everyone else. :wave2:

So what's happening on this fine Saturday? Any big plans?

Good Morning Tricia

Have been up so long, I'm on the second pot already:laughing: Does your pot still beep? :surfweb:

Yes the pot still beeps but Mark was up before me this morning. It must have beeped while I was still sleeping. :surfweb:

How are you today?

So what's happening in November other than my Birthday and Thanksgiving? Are you planning another get a way?

No more election ads. They've lasted so long this time around.:rolleyes1

Oh I agree Judi.

I don't really have any plans for today. Kelsie has work until 12:00 and she'll be taking my car. I could always use Mark's but I really don't have any place to go other than the grocery. What an exciting life I lead. :teeth:

We did the grocery store Wednesday. Today is get a muffler for Mr. Judi's truck. You can hear him comin' around the bend.:)

Maybe that's not a bad thing. Now he can come and sneek up on you. :tiptoe: Do you have a huge pantry? I seem to stop in the grocery several times a week. I'm always forgetting something. I can't imagine only going once a week.

My mom is like that. She lives about 45 minutes outside of town and does the grocery thing once every two weeks. To her credit she has a walk in pantry that is ten feel long with floor to ceiling shelves. She never buys just one of anything.

Large pantry & deep freeze. If you live a distance from the grocery, you can't just run to it. We have a small grocer here $6 for a 4 pack of TP.
Drive to bigger town:)

Judi I got a little taste of country living right after the Hurricane. We were put up in a hunting camp for about three weeks three days after the storm. Anyway it was about an hour outside of town. We would pick one day a week and that's when we did everything from going to the bank, getting groceries, gas, well everything. The people in small towns are wonderful. Everyone knows everyone and it's just well different that city life.

That's how it is here. We know how many times you flush your toilet a day.:rotfl2:
Anything from bowling, going to the show, clothes shopping you drive. I Like cruise control. Keeps me out of trouble:thumbsup2
