Oh, and Angus...I never did dare to try those pitch-black brownies. The kids declined them and Brent did try one but he said they were disgusting. My instincts were right...never eat things that are not their appropriate color!

Had your chance...muffed it. 'sides, I don't believe in bribery.

Oh wait...yeah I do. Plus i love pickles. With a side of beets. Send it on over, hag!

The pickle I will send, the beets sorry no can do. You will have to find another evil-doer to send the beets. I will however throw in a six pack of grape smirnoff ices.

Becca I did my pay pal to Shannon speedy quick, but you still beat me to the punch. You have usurped my position as speediest contributor. I'm ill.

Yes, but how MANY times did you pay her Bex?? :teeth:

I'm BORED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 40 more minutes-I don't think I can make it. I fear there may be a dire emergency at home that requires me to leave early.

I was faster than thou? Wow, I'm feeling good about myself now!

I want to learn to scuba dive, but I only want to do it in a swimming pool as I'm afraid of sharks.:scared1:

Just once, I had her check since I am so good at double paying.:rolleyes1

For a small fee I might be willing to call your work, posing as your "sister" and assist you. Just lemme know.

I'm in the mood for pigs in a blanket, but sadly, I have no croissant dough.

I scuba dived in a pool once. It still freaked me out!! I felt like I could not get enough air.

But you are better than me at most things, so I am sure you will do great. You scary beast.

I think I'd freak out about not enough air, too. I may attempt snorkeling some day-I've been too chicken to try that, also. I don't want nuthin under the water touching me! Course, I don't do swimsuits in public, either. :sad2:

Swim dresses have changed my mind about swimming in public. They hide a lot. I still look like crap, but at least now i'll swim in public!

DH is is at softball practice tonight, so I made my kids octopus and seaweed.

I, however, will not eat things that are not their proper color, so the seaweed was out for me. I opted instead for canned ravioli. However, while I was powdering my nose, my doggie climbed up on the table and went to town on my bowl o' ravioli, and I had to chuck it. :furious: So I ended up eating cereal for dinner.

Bonnie, you know you really wanted the cereal in the first place anyway. I don't know why you even bothered opening the raviolis:confused3 ANd then come up with the whole "I had to powder my nose" routine;) We are on to you and your haggy tricks.

:lmao:

I can't believe you threw your ravioli away after Gretch had a bite. What is the matter with you? I can't believe the waste. You could have at least given her the rest.:rotfl:

Hi Hags! Long time no DIS!!

The motorcycle rally was good -- Mr. Julie pinstriped 25 bikes. Which is decent considering it rained a good bit. :headache: Last year he did 38, but it was perfect weather!!

Atlas was a HUGE attraction. Everyone wanted to pet him and talk to him. He loved the attention too. He goes tomorrow to get fixed and get his tattoo.

In addition to being tied up with the bike show and the recuperation, I have been mowing the last two nights. We had to get a new lawn tractor and it is huge, but it still takes a few hours to mow it all....

I hope to catch up on my Dis soon!! Everyone have a good evening!

Okay, ladies, I am off to NY/NJ until Sunday. A vacation from my vacation, and no need to get up at 5am  . I intend to sleep on the ride up and treat my family to a fabulous symphony of snoring. I am beat!

Heather - I consulted my cookbook and it advised a fricassee for those chickens unwilling to lay eggs. The frog passes along his recommendation that the chickens get busy.

Bonnie - I am endlessly impressed that you will make the octopus/seaweed dish. Do you hire out for birthday parties? I think they octopi need a new solution for the eyes, though, as the mustard eyeballs convey a look of blankness and undereducation. Certainly not an image you want to have on your dinner plate, Miss Teacher.:teacher: Was Princess Gretchen's delicate system upset by the ravioli? Linus would like to remind her that he has not stolen food since the Great Easter Basket Incident of 2008, thank you very much. Hey, are you sure I don't reply to your PM's? I remember no such transgression!;)

Becca - I don't think that scuba in a pool would provide much in the way of visual stimulation. Unless, of course, you were sharing the pool with some of those Olympic Man-swimmers in the super tight suits. Then, an eyefull might be had.

Angie - Hey, hagalicious! Did you get my check for the room? I forgot about to ask about it until the subject of money came up today. Did we decide to upgrade the room to preferred? Let me know and I can send out another check. Can you set off your own fireworks in Arizona? It seems like a wild and woolly state where anything goes. Do your dogs mind firework noise? Linus hates it!

Julie - give our regards to little Atlas on his snip snip day. Poor little dude!

See ya Tricia, Judi and Kimmy. Have a happy 4th!

Good morning!

Today is my "work Friday". The college is giving us tomorrow off as a holiday and is closed until Tuesday to save energy. :dance3:

Atlas let me sleep until my 5:20 alarm went off. (Might be time to adjust that a little) ;) The poor thing is so hungry. But no more food or water until after snip-snip...

I have a 3 hour webinar today at work!! :scared1: I had one yesterday and have to schedule 4 more. They are prerequisites for a week long training I have to go to next year. I need to find a conference phone so I don't have to hold the receiver for 3 hours straight....

I am so hoping for lots of sleep this long weekend, along with some much needed house cleaning. Plus we really need to fix our kitchen light switch...

Judi -- I am thinking a lot about you and sending

Atlas send all his doggie and froggie friends and big WOOF!! :dog2:

As much as I want to go back to bed, I better get ready for work.

Have a great day!!

Julie, get a picture of Astro, first walking after you pick him up. I still laugh about my youngest cat's drunken stagger after she was fixed.:rotfl:

Morning, Sassies!! How is everyone this fine Wednesday morning? I am great! Cause I am wearing my favorite shirt. No, Becca and Angie, it's not the Cheshire Cat shirt! I have not worn that thing since Chicago, actually. I think it's high time I bust it out of the closet! It has a few sequins missing though. :( I wanna return to WDW just so's I can get me a new one!

Today after work I'm taking the girls to the $1 kid movie...the Waterhorse. Assuming they want to go. Last week they were complaining that it was Waterhorse...not cause they don't like the movie, but because they watch the DVD all the time and seeing it at the theater would not be that exciting. So we'll see what they say. I already bought the tickets so I hope they want to go!

Psh! I ain't rewarding that mutt for swiping my food! I love her, but that really chapped my cheeks! Not to mention she had a tomatoey-red muzzle afterward!

Hi Julie! I missed you, hag! Girl, you must have a mighty big lawn if you need a lawn tractor!! Those things are fun to ride, aren't they?

Wilma, I concur about the eyes. They look like comic strip Annie (and me without eye makeup). I let the girls put on their own eyes, so they can have either mustard eyes or ketchup eyes. I personally put on no eyes and announce that my octopus is asleep. I have a lot of experience with the octodog. Every year when my class is learning letter O, we make "octopus stew" so the kids can partake. It is thrilling.

Have a great trip and post pics for us at the pie hole! Oh, and my comment about unreturned PMs was a slight against Bex. She has been dogging me lately and she needed to be reprimanded. :)

I totally agree Bonnie. On vacation I even see skinny things swimming in skirts or swim dresses. :thumbsup2 As Martha Stewart says........It's a good thing!

Good morning sassies! I'm going to take the kids to the zoo today. It's been quite a while since we've been and we feel the need to see some four legged friends.

Wilma have a great time in NJ. We aren't going away for the 4th. I guess we'll just be hanging around and BBQing.
