Joey's actual appointment to see the doctor is at 3:30, but I have to go in an hour earlier than that so the phlebotomist can apply the numbing cream to his arm or where ever they decide to stick him. While we are in the hospital they tried to draw blood from hi ankle because one arm had the IV and they couldn't get blood from the other side. It was a nightmare. I will be so glad when this is over. This waiting is horrible.
I am no longer soda free. I have to have caffiene to keep up with the kids during the summer and Dr Pepper is my favorite way to get itMaybe I will try again when school starts.

The memory is the LAST thing to go in my world. The rest is a sagging quickly![]()
Hey Bonnie!!! How are you friend???
Good luck at the Ortho... we haven't had to do anything yet, kinda holding my breath on that. Sounds majorly pricey!!
Hi Rella!
Bonnie, its blood red. It looked like she committed murder when she had it on her hands after applying it to my noggin.
I didn't have to have the lower one so I don't know how that works. I had to turn the key so many times a day. It wasn't bad the first couple of days then it was very very sore. Then for a little while it caused a big gap in my front teeth........it will all be worth it in the end though.
Good morning sassies!
Good news for me today. Mark's car was fixed yesterday so I'm not stranded today. Nope, no cleaning of the hall closet today because I'm outta here.![]()

So what's happening on this lovely Thursday?
Colin was up before me this morning playing Webkinz on the computer. I had to wait my turn and take a number.![]()
Well, howdy DOO, Sir Elton!!![]()
Sir Elton bids you all adieu!
I see I missed a major chat session this morning. Stupid time differences!
I was lucky and didn't have one of those orthondontial torture devices you are describing! I did get my upper and lower braces on all at the same time-it was HORRIBLE!! I was in so much pain the next day I stayed home from school. And the tightening appointments were a nightmare, too. I was like Heather-I didn't wear my retainer enough and my teeth moved a little.
Well, yesterday officially started monsoon season here. So now not only do we get to enjoy 110 degree temps, the humidity jumps into the 40-50 percent range, and we get almost daily thunderstorms. At my house we usually just get horrible winds (the rain seems to stay east of us) and the occasional dust storm. It really wreaks havoc on the poor trees!
I think you all know I'm gonna be a step-granny (39 is a little young for grandma status, doncha think??), but did I tell you she's having a girl? She's due in October.
Hooray!! Girls are awesome!
I have experienced the monsoons in Phoenix! When we went to Rawhide ghost town, we got a taste of one. CRAZY, man!
How are you doing, Angus?
