HA HA! Brent just told me that the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile came to his work and handed out whistles!! The horn plays, "Oh I wish I were an oscar meyer weiner".

Man, I have ALWAYS wanted to ride around in that thing, listening to Barry Manilow, eating hot dogs, honking the horn occasionally and just chillin'...

HI! Guess what! Scott is employed with a nursing agency! We should be able to pay all the bills now, not just the most important ones!! Of course that is assuming they actually give him some hours. He has to take a computer refresher course before he gets actual hours and that wont be until the week after next, but at least he is hired.

Alright Angie..........now it is time for your DH to find work so we can celebrate together.

Yes it is! I have been trying to figure out how to juggle next months bills and there was not good way to do it. This position has the option to get paid daily so I should be able to catch us up fairly quickly. I think I will even be able to pay everything except the huge electric bill on time.

Great news for Scott. Angie your DH will be next.

I missed you all this morning. Mark took a day off today and of course he gets up before me. When I got up the coffee was made but he was hogging the computer. Oh well, I guess I have to share.

I had to take Colin back to the Dr. today. He started complaining about his ear again two days ago. The doctor said it was a middle ear infection (which is what I thought) but he has been swimming so much I wanted to make sure it wasn't swimmers ear.

I know how relieved you must be. Don't feel guilty-my DH has sent out quite a few resumes this week and is feeling pretty positive about them. Sometimes he only gets a couple out a week, so this is a good sign. I'm trying to stay positive.

What is this Tuba Christmas of which you speak?

Angie - Tuba Christmas is a concert of JUST TUBAS playing Christmas music. I think it's a pretty big thing - they play the Kennedy Center yearly. Kind of the "big show" for the instrument that always gets shoved in the background (unfairly, I say! ).
