What is the differences in the efficiency at these resorts? And if I have a week booked at each one following the other then what if any are chances of not having to move units? We are traveling in May if this makes a difference. Thanks!

Don't think I understand the question. What do you mean by efficiency? Are you just asking what the differences are between BWV studio villas and those at SSR? If so, there isn't any - except for the decorations/theme.

Again, not sure I understand the question. If you are staying two weeks, the first at SSR and the second at BWV, you do have to move. If you do not want to move, you need a two week reservation at a single resort. If availability is a problem when you call for the reservation, then you may ask MS to put you on the waitlist and hope it works out for you.

Post again with more info if I didn't answer your questions.

Thanks! You explained it great! I traded through II into both of these units and wasn't sure if there was a chance that I would not have to move rooms if there was availability at our 1st weeks resort.

Each DVC resort's membership is handled independently. In order to trade into the properties a member at each one had to trade out. Therefore, you (probably) won't be able to stay both weeks at one resort. This will mean both a change of units and of properties. If you have a car with you, you can handle the move on your own. If not, simply contact Bell Services at your first resort and they will transfer your bags to the second. You can then take WDW transportation or a taxi to your second resort, check in and enjoy your second week.

You should enjoy the change they are about as different as two resorts can get. If you do BWV first SSR will be a chance to unwind and slow down "if you want" I love them both when we stay at BWV it seems like we're never in the room everything is just right there, lots of fun and excitment. At SSr usually when we get back from parks it's hit the hot tubs and sit around maybe take a slow walk over to DTD if it's not to late and have a drink or ice cream. Like two different vacations but you get WDW with either, pretty sure you'll enjoy both your weeks. as posted befor inside the rooms are the same except for the theme. Have fun and Welcome to our Home :flower3:

Sounds great! 2 weeks at Disney what else could I want?

I think having two weeks, having two different resorts is a great idea! SSR and BWV are two different worlds! I hope you have a wonderful time!

We did a split stay between BWV and SSR last year. We loved the differences between the two. At BWV we spent a lot of time walking around the boardwalk, checking out the Beach Club, walking to EPCOT and the studios. At SSR, we relaxed. It is so peaceful. There were birds outside in ponds that we could look at outside our balcony. We also spent more time shopping and dining at DTD since it is so close.
They are very different, but we love each one.

I agree with the others... We typically only stay 5 nights, but if we were staying 2 weeks we would CHOOSE to split our stay for the fun of it. Have a great time.

I have a 2 week vacation booked for June '09 at SSR but plan on trying for another resort at my 7 week window for a week. I'm not picky, I'd take whichever has availability but I'm silently hoping for BCV or BWV.
