Saratoga studio standard view

Grandstand has similar benefits, but given the choice I'd rather be close to Disney Springs than the Carriage House.

Yet you are very close to the Disney Springs boat, which drops one off in a great part of DS, and another SSR TO DS walkway right there as well - adjacent to The Grandstand area.

Hi. Do you ask for a particular location at these buildings
Yep.
1st choice- #85
Second choice- #81

That was all the request I made. No floor number, nothing. I just wanted one of those two buildings. Getting #85 was icing on the cake at SSR.

We've stayed at Congress Park, Paddock, and The Springs on our last three visits. People on here who are a lot more knowledgeable than me about SSR room placements can tell me if I'm wrong, but if I had my choice for a standard studio based on where I've stayed previously (we've only stayed in 1 or 2-bedrooms), it would be firstly Congress Park and then The Springs. I have not stayed at the Grandstand, but it looks really nice. For us, it's that we prefer to be closer to Disney Springs so we can walk over there in 5 minutes. I don't think you can go wrong with wherever you stay, but I'm very biased to this resort.

Which building in Congress Park did you prefer? I stayed in the Springs and it was nice, but for a future "winter" trip, Congress Park would be awesome to walk quickly to Disney Springs.

If I was getting a studio, my preferred standard location is the Grandstand, whereas the standard preferred location I usually choose is Congress Park.

Someone that knows the building numbers better than me can help out, but we stayed at the building that would be closest to the welcome center. I believe there are four buildings at Congress Park, so it’s the last one on the left if you are coming off of Buena Vista Drive through the gates to SSR. It’s a great location, and it puts you within easy walking distance to the welcome center, and of course a short walk to Disney Springs. But in all fairness, there’s really not a bad location at Congress Park.

Last weekend we stayed in the Springs and walked by Congress Park to get to Disney Springs (short 2 night trip). I couldn’t recall the buildings there, but the quiet pool was really nice and the quick walk to Disney Springs sounded perfect!

Did you find the rooms in Congress Park to be noisy at night due to proximity to Disney Springs? Does the pool get crowded?

Thanks in advance.

Not at all noisy. We’ve stayed at other resorts where escaping the noise was not possible given its proximity to pedestrians, parks, monorail, etc. We stay at SSR every time now because we love the quietness it provides from the fun chaos of the day. You’ll enjoy that location, and it’s really unique to sit out on the porch and look at all the sights of DS from your room at night.

as for the pool, it fluctuates in crowds. We found it to not be crowded most of the times we went, but that is generally in the early part of the afternoon.
