Saratoga springs

There are only (2) preferred areas Congress Park (4 building), and the Springs area (3 building). A large number of guests tend to all request Congress Park.

Congress park is also the closest area for walking to Disney Springs if you are interested.

Congress Park is preferred because it’s the closest to DS.

Springs is preferred because it’s the closest to the main building, with the feature pool, shopping, and both QS and TS dining. It’s also close to the Paddock pool.

So, you can decide what’s most important to you.

How far is it to walk from congress park to the main building or would you more likely be taking the bus?

And I'd like to know which area has the bus stop that gets picked up first. Thanks!

Here you go!

(The Boat info might be a bit out of date, but the bus info is correct IIRC.)

We normally stay at Congress Park when it’s adults only staying at the closet building to DS
It’s only about 10 min walk to the main lobby
If we go with grandkids we stay at Graandstand and request next to pool
Less than 5min walk to main lobby and first stop for bus pickup and first stop for bus drop off

Order is based on destination:
Theme Park buses: Grandstand, Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park, Springs
Disney Springs buses: Congress Park, Springs, Grandstand, Carousel, Paddock

So.people at The Springs wouldnt have to go thru a bunch of internal stops and get to go straight to the theme park when being picked up? But run the risk of there being no room on the bus because tbey are the last to get picked up?

Correct. Outside of very early for park opening, I don't believe seating is too much of an issue (currently).

Yes - but it's pretty rare to get a full bus. It may be Standing only, but usually they can get everyone on. Worst case would be rope-drop, holiday season - in those scenarios they tend to run the busses a little more so if you miss getting on, another should follow sometimes in less than the 20-30 minute interval.

If you want to split the difference between Disney Springs and the main building/pool, buildings 3 & 4 in Congress Park are a few hundred yards farther from Disney Springs, but a few hundred yards closer to the main pool area - it will change the walking distances by about 3-4 minutes less to the main area, 3-4 minutes more to Disney Springs.
