Hi....I was scheduled to travel to OKW in late March but have opted to go mid January to save on airfare. SSR is a better use of our points so wondering what building to ask for when I call MS tomorrow?

We've stayed 3 places within Saratoga Springs, and I would recommend all three for different reasons.

The Springs Area -- is closest to the main pool, arcade, community center, Artists Palette, etc. Great if you have kids that will frequent these areas, as I do -- it's my favorite.

Congress Park -- further away from all of the above, but closest to Downtown Disney. The walk over is a nice one.

The Grandstand -- has its own themed pool and bar, which is adorable and always less crowded than the main pool. Also, if you request a room close to the pool, you will be just as close to the restaurants and check-in area.

Have a great time!

Dallasdisneymommy sums it up. Those are my 3 favorites as well. I tend to like CP, as it's 5 minutes away from DTD, and the quite pool overlooks DTD. Awesome view!!!

With that said, I'd be happy in any of those the 3 sections. If you look at all 3 areas on a map, imagine an upside down triangle. CP is the top left corner, Granstand is the top right corner, the main pool is sandwiched between CP and GS, with the Springs section being located at the bottom point. DTD main entrance is to the left of CP.

I would only add that for us, when we request Grandstand, I request the two buildings next to the Grandstand pool. These are room numbers 8100-8400 and 8500-8800. These buildings are the closest to the main area (really just a short walk), the pool of course and the first bus stop in the resort. This has been our favorite spot.

Otherwise, it would depend if you have any special interests, such as wanting to be the closest to the main area, then the Springs should be your request (it is the last bus stop though). If you prefer a DTD view, or will like to walk to DTD, then Congress Park is your request. Carousel is the farthest from evereything but it is the second bus stop. Paddocks is, well, nothing bad but nothing special either.
