Saratoga Request

Yesterday I changed the first 2 days of an existing reservation to Kidani...tomorrow (at the 7 month mark), I am going to try to change 3 more days to a Saratoga 1 bedroom. (Based on what I've read here, I'm thinking we should have no trouble getting it).

So...2 adults this trip, no kids, late September, just looking to relax for a few days before we finish our vacation at BLT...so I was thinking the Paddock for a request. Getting to DTD is not that a big deal for us, or else I would have thrown Congress Park in the mix. And we will have a car.

Any comments or thoughts, please? Thanks!

Grandstand seems to be the preferred place.

If it was me, I would request whatever building is closest to the main pool. We had the Grandstand building that was furthest out, and even though there were other buildings even further out, that was too far away from the main area for my liking.

Even without the traveling to DTD, Congress park is still my choice. The view of the water and DTD at night is so peaceful and relaxing. We love it. Love sitting the balcony at night having a glass of wine watch the activity at DTD.

Also the pool area at CP is very quiet and relaxing.

Of course I am bias. We have only stayed at CP so I can not compare it to Grandstand, etc.

If you are looking to relax, don't need the hub bub of the main pool or Downtown Disney, the Paddock is a GREAT adult get-away; very low key, very private, and few in the quiet pool.

Thanks! Thats exactly what I was hoping for..we're starting out with 2 days in a studio in Kidani..followed by 3 days chilling out in Saratoga..and ending with 4 days at BLT, in which our 24 yo son...our niece and 1 yo baby...and my 78 year old mom join us...so 3 quiet days in the middle at Paddock would be perfect.
