If you bought a resale at say OKW can you add on at SSR? If so do you have to pay the going rate of $95 or do you get a discount? Also is there a minimun number of points you can add on like the initial purchase of SSR?

Yes, the price per point is now $95. You missed the DVC member extension to add-on before the proce increase took effect 5/9/04.
I have read that Magic Beginning is still being offered. That would be $85 per point but having to give up first years points.
And I also think that required a minimum purchase of 100 points.

As a DVC member, you can add as littler as 25 points if paying cash (credit card) or as little as 50 points if financing through Disney.

Can you add on anywhere else through Disney or just at SSR? I also didn't realize you could add on with a credit card. That could give the frequent flier miles a boost.

Many posters reported paying for their entire membership with a credit card that gave miles or rebate and then paying it off with a home equity loan. I put deposit on my credit card and then did Disney financing with direct debit to my checking account. First payment for SSR with be on June 1st. First dues payment July 1st.

Thanks for the CC info, very interesting. But what about adding on anywhere other than SSR? Can it be done through Disney or resale only?

you can contact a guide and request to be placed on a waitlist to purchase other Resorts. From reports on this board this is very hit or miss and only a few have reported being successful recently.
They may request a CC in case your points come thru that they can immediately place a deposit on.
