Can anyone tell me if any of the 2bdrooms at Saratoga are the locked/off studio + 1 bedroom. We are considering going next August on our developer points and would want a 2 bedrrom for my sister and her boyfriend.. but were hoping its the lock/off so they could have a kitchenette.. if they have both the dedicated and lockoff can you request either or?? thanks...;)

Both types are available. If you would prefer a lock-off make sure you advise MS when making your reservation as the room type is guaranteed.

SSR offers both lock-off and dedicated. When you make your reservation ask for a 2-bedroom villa lock-off. In my experience, the dedicated 2-bedrooms are more popular...so you shouldn't have a problem. I wou recommend making your ressie as soon as you can (11-month if SSR is your home or 7 months if your home is elsewhere).

Good luck!

Yes, Saratoga can offer both kinds of 2 bedrooms. Just request what you'd like when you make your reservation. They are beautiful rooms, you won't be dissapointed!:thumbsup2

Thanks everyone.. We stayed in a 1br last year and the place is beautiful.. We stayed in Congress Park.. What other areas are recommended to stay in? We want to be close to the main pool and Artist Palate.. We loved or view of DTD... the only complaint i had about the place was it was HUGE!! If you ended up far from the main area and your using the foodcourt/quickservice as much as we do... GOOD LUCK.

We've stayed in Congress Park & The Grandstand....if you want to be closer to the Main Pool...I would say stay at The Grandstand (it's the buildings to the right of the main pool/Artist Palate, check-in, etc.)...and they have their own big pool. We're requesting Grandstand again for our trip in April. Congress Park was nice, but we felt closer to "the action" in the Grandstand. It's also the first turn in when you enter the resort....as the first stop on the bus route.

I don't know if you know of this thread already....but here's a link to a thread of SSR lovers with tons of info & photos: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1329308

Have fun! We just love love love SSR!
