Mmmmm...I am a HUGE pretzel fan! That one looks SO yummy!! On your next trip, check out the pretzles in HS. They have fantastic stuffed pretzels! I had one stuffed with apples, cinnamon and sugar, and they also had spicy cheese stuffed ones too.

The monorail looks so fun! We need to go back so we can do that, although I don't know if they'd let a stroller in the front??

Sorry you felt sick. It is just not right to be sick in Disney!!

sorry you got a tummy ache - dd swears that Beverly in Epcot's Club Cool helps that! AND she's serious!! We have to bring an empty water bottle for her to FILL it with Beverly! AND SHE DRINKS IT ALL!!

It was a very magical trip! And we certainly got our monies worth!

yuck about feeling sick ,.... been there done that at disney, they give out quite a few different medicines at first aid... i wont tell what kind i got because that would be tmi but they have alot available. the monorail is fun in the front. my ds got a monorail driver license. it was so cute ...although he was one at the time and i was much more excited than him

sorry i dont remember who asked about a stroller in the front of the monorail, last time i was there it was not allowed, luckily my mom was willing to go in another car with it. i love my mom

Yeah...we have certainly been SICK at Disney! This was not that bad, really. Just major nausea. Probably too much rich food.

That was Nichole that asked...Noah's Mommy. I am sure she is reading this at some point...
I know wheelchairs are not allowed...although I am not sure what they would do if I wanted to carry Lauren in there. I just think Lauren doesn't want to go up there that much. William and his parents got to go on the Wish Trip. That ride from MK to Epcot in the front, though, was the BEST!!

Hi All, It's good to be back...Dubai was a fun vacation- spendy, but fun. There's a lot to see and do there. I'll do some blogging about it and our time there in the next few days. Hope to have a link in my siggie soon to that blog.

Anyway, looks like I really missed some fun bantering and I see you've got a new link in your siggie, Maroo. I'll have to go check that out now.

I too, love, love, love JC! Those corny jokes crack me up every time! We got a snack in Germany too, but we went for the sausage with a roll instead. Oh yeah, we had the apple struedel too! Oh, toooooooooooooo yummy! Loved every bite!

Check out her TR...she has started it and there are awesome pictures of the GKTW playground that I have just not seen too much on the DIS yet! They were there for 9 days before her son, Noah, had to be flown home because he got sick. It is shaping up to be a very inspirational and detailed report!

You are so funny! I am not much for the JC or the Safari...I have decided adventure rides are not my cup of tea! But...Sharon, I think, will like them...so I am sure we will be riding them in Sept! I can't wait for you to see some cool parts of this Sept trip!

We left off with you guys guessing what THIS is...

Yep…Grumpy Butt. Can I say that on the DIS? I have a feeling that some of you knew exactly what that was and didn't want to guess? No fun!

We continued our trip around the world. We milled around in Germany for a while. I took German for a few years in High School, so I always enjoy talking to the German CMs! I also checked out Biergarten, because I wanted to eat there on one of my solo days!

We chilled. Life was good.

As we were walking around, we decided we were thirsty. We decided to go get some FREE water and grab a table at the Refreshment Outpost.





And this is where the

section starts...



Yep, the Grumpy Butt section.

I got grumpy.

First of all, there were these college aged young people that were WASTED and climbing all over this car.

Yes, I took a picture of them. I am very good at my “spy” pictures! Although I doubt they would have noticed it. They eventually started climbing all over the car. They tried to get through the window of the car. Climbed all over the hood. I am surprised security did not show up and wisk them away.

They were so loud! Obnoxious! And they made me GRUMPY! I was also tired, I am sure. And grumpy!

Grumpy Butt!


Sarah decided this would be a good time to keep tapping me on the shoulder. I said, “Stop.” (Nicely at first.) But Sarah thought it was funny, since I was such a grumpy butt! So she kept tapping me on the shoulder.

Over.

And over.

Until I finally pushed her hand away and said, “STOP!” I was pretty harsh. She was pretty annoying. Sarah walked off…really mad. She left Amy and me standing there. (Awkward)

The line was also s l o w. Which was further annoying me. Like turtle slow. By the time I got to order, I wanted a coke float. Can you blame me?…they just looked so good! And I had been staring at them for 20 minutes!

It was my turn to order (finally) and these other college looking folks walked up to the register, through the exit, to order. Ok…this was NOT going to happen. I was ready to be DONE with the line and sitting at my table in the shade.

I politely, surprisingly, told the young men that the line was actually back there and that this was the exit. They were not happy. They did send a member of their party to get in line and the rest of them headed to a table. I grabbed my coke float and got Sarah some water.

Sarah was still nowhere to be found. I walked toward the table I had been eyeing and the boys that had cut in line looked straight at me, walked up to "my" table, and took two chairs! Leaving ONE. There were no other chairs. I could have let it go. I could have walked to another country or walked around and found a bench or something.

But this was one of those moments. These boys saw me walking right toward that table carrying two drinks. They even smirked at me. So, I walked right up to the boys and asked for the two chairs back. I politely explained that I had two friends joining me and that I would need those chairs. He gave them back. I guess I grew a backbone. Grumpy Butt.

Amy joined me and we sat there talking about the drunk college kids and the rude college kids. We were sitting there for 10 or 15 minutes. Sarah still had not come back. I was not exactly sure what we were going to do. Just wait there, I guess. The weather was beautiful. Amy was good company. We talked about her kids and her job. Just chillin.

Eventually Sarah came back. I apologized, she apologized. And all was good and the land of Maroo!

As far as I can remember...on this trip...we never saw this guy...

Again!

I don't have any plans to be at GKTW in December, although I could end up going...I will have lots going on (going with 6 other people, including a 4-year-old and my friend that uses a power wheelchair)...I will be starting a pre-trippie on that trip as soon as I finish THIS trip report! I refuse to try to keep up with three TR type threads.

I will go to GKTW during my Sept trip, though!
