I completely agree.

as a female, with ties to alaska, i dont want either of those aspects to be tied back to mccains failed attempt to make a political statement to minorities.

From leading her daughter to the bad decision of having a child at 17
To no goverment experience
I mean seriously she only been the Govenor of Alaska for 2 years
And she was the Mayor of a town in the middle of no where before that.
I dont think she bring any experiences to the Ballot at all
Probally McCain only chose her so they can drill more in Alaska
Which doesnt sound atractive to me at all
I think this was a bad decision for McCain

I would hate to start any arguments, but Obama has never governed a small town, major city, or state. All he has ever been is a senator. Sarah Palin has been a Governor for two years, two years more than Obama has ever been. And people keep worrying that she doesn't have enough experience to take over the presidency should something happen to McCain, saying that she is a heartbeat away from being president. Shouldn't we be more worried that the man who could be the heartbeat of the president, on the front lines, has less governing experience than her? I'm just sayin. PLEASE no one get angry with me, i find politics very interesting and I can't even vote yet so don't waste your energy being mad at me.

She doesn't have any experience. The Republicans confirm it when asked, because they talk in circles without giving out and examples of her so called "executive experience".

I'm not too thrilled with what I've heard about her. Supposedly, she wants abstinence only taught in schools. I don't agree with that, I think every student has the right to make that decision upon being educated of any and every type of birth control/STD/etc. I don't think this is helping her case as her 17 year old daughter is now 5 month pregnant.

Yeah but he was a member of the House of Burgesses for quite a while, represented Virginia at the the Continental Congresses, was commander-in-chief of the Continental Army, and presided over the Constitutional Convention among many other things. Plus he was George Washington.

I think that her lack of experience does not help and I am not quite sure what kind of mother she can be if she is taking this job with a BABY!!!!! I don't completely dislike her for her daughter being pregnant either.. I think that that can happen to the best of parents. I have not made up my mind yet though and am interested to see how it turns out.

I think this is the best choice he could have made. She is the only person running who has executive experience (that's what my mom told me) and she know's what she's talking about. Her lack of experience doesn't mean anything as long as she can get the job done. I think it was a very smart move for him to pick a women VP. Also, one of her sons has something wrong with him and one is in the army. I'm not saying that help's her or anything I just think that is great that she can still do all this.
