Not sure if this will end well, but any thoughts?

My main thing is that McCain has only met her once.

The only thing I know about her is that my boyfriend, my cousins, and Sxephil think she's hot.
And that she's the vp of that old guy.
Or something like that...

I know she wants to alaska to seprate from usa and become it's own country

a secessionist?

I think she is very good for the job. She knows what she's talking about and she has a kid in the army (im not saying that helps or anything but im just saying)and she is from alaska so she knows about the oil there. I think it was a very smart move by McCain to pick a women for his VP. I think she is a very good choice :thumbsup2.

Bad choice, Imo

The Obama campaign is gonna jump all over her inexperience, if it hasn't already (haven't heard any political news in a while). Right when McCain's endless mudslinging about Obama's inexperience started to have some affect he chooses Sarah Palin. She's been governor of Alaska, a state with a tiny population, for practically 15 minutes and before that she was mayor of some podunk town.

Plus it seems she hates polar bears... :guilty:

I hope her knowing about the oil there won't cause us to drain it all with our gas-gusslers and leave the area torn up. I don't think alaska would want to succed from us then :p. Either that or the alaskan people would get really ticked off and leave anyway, sending out the orders to the Middle East for gas, then when that gas gets sucked up, (unless we have mass solar power or something by then) we all plunge into darkness. Then we hear God's booming voice saying: I told ya so. -idiots-

Don't y'all love my take on politics :p?

Source? I was watching some interview with her on youtube and she kept saying that Alaska was given statehood so it could provide oil to the USA. She was angry that the gov wasn't letting her state keep its side of the deal by drilling in some nature reserve. Doesn't really sound like she was planning on Alaska leaving the union anytime soon if she wants to give away all it's oil.

IT was on the news jsut search it i am sure you will find it

I look forward to learning more about her in the time being before voting, but I think that from what I know right now, McCain made a good decision and she has some very good attributes to her that make her a qualified choice for VP.

It's a good decision on Mccain's part because it stole some of the democrats' thunder by picking a woman. OT: she used to be a sports broadcaster.

Friday John McCain announced her as her running mate.

Friday Bravo was showing Ms. Congeniality.

Coincidence?

Her 17 year old daughter is preganant with her 18 year old boyfriend. Just thought thats a little troubling. But other than that I think it was a good choice for vp.

shes refreshing.

can she do the job? i dont know.
but then again, i dont know if mccain or obama could do their jobs either.

i lack faith in either candidate right now.

all i know is that i dont envy her.
