I am dying to have a Santa hat w/ Mickey's ears. Anyone know where to get them? Websites? Do they have them at WDW?
My Co-worker is going in early-December and I know he would bring them back for me if they are there?

Any info? TIA!!!

They are fairly standard and generally become available some time in November. I think they are also available year round at the Christmas Shop in DTD. There should be no problem in getting one.

If all else fails you can make your own. You'll need a santa hat, a can of black spraypaint, a hot glue gun, and 2 plates (I found bread plates work better than dinner plates unless your head is HUGE). First take the two plates and spray them with black paint. Please do not use your wife's good china as that doesn't go over quite so good. I've found it is better to not spray both sides of the plate at once as it gets really messy. Also, please spray paint in a well ventilated area otherwise you start to see hephalumps and woozles. Once the paint has dried and you are no longer seeing poka-dot imaginary animals because you didn't know what ventilation meant, you will need to attach the plates to the hat. If you used plastic or paper plates then you can attach them using hot glue. If you ignored my comment about not using china (the plates not the country) then trust me, hot glue won't be enough. I went through a full place setting before I figured out it wasn't going to work. You can try to use super glue but please make sure you have medical insurance as they will ask for that when you go to the emergency room to have black plates removed from your fingers. That is pretty much it and in the end you will have a hat you'll be proud of. And just think, if you get to the party and all of the plates are gone, you can eat off your hat so it is like having two things for the price of one.

Yes, we do sell them year round at Disney's Days of Christmas in DTD. We currently have them with MM, MN, Goofy (also Goofy jester), Tigger & Stitch.
