Santa wraps the gifts he brings in paper with his picture on it. He also wraps stocking stuffers!!

Santa gifts at our house have always been wrapped and each child gets a special paper and their gifts are in a small pile with their stocking laying against them so they know whos is whos..........even stocking stuffers are wrapped

All other presents are wrapped and put under the tree on Christmas eve day.............

At our house, Santa does both. Large items are left out under the tree. Smaller things that Santa brings are wrapped in special paper with Santas on it. Stuff from Mom and Dad goes under the tree as it is bought as does the gifts for all other family members.

Santa wraps the gifts in special paper that looks just like the paper on the Polar Express. This paper is not used for anything else. We bought a bunch of it when ds10 was little and covered the outside of it with regular paper so the kids wouldn't accidentally see it.

Also, Santa brings 3 gifts for each child and it's not always their biggest/most expensive gifts. All other gifts are wrapped and put under the tree with just their name - they know they are from mom/dad/older sister.

Yep Santa wraps the gifts. My kids believe that he and I email and decided together what paper we're going to use. So gifts from mom and dad and gifts from Santa are all in the same paper.

Santa not only wraps all the gifts here but has also been known to individually wrap pieces of gum in one's stocking to make the unwrapping experience last longer!

Coincidentally he also uses red yarn instead of ribbon and writes on the gifts with a black sharpie instead of tags- that way there's no worries about the tags coming off in the sleigh! :)

Santa wraps here, unless it is something that requires time to put together (i.e. a train table or bicycle) then it is assembled and ready to use.

Santa wraps all of the gifts in a special themed paper. The paper used to match the child's interest (Barbie, High School Musical, Tinkerbelle, Disney princesses, etc.). Now that DD is older (11, but not as into the themed stuff), the paper is just something fun. This year it is a reddish paper with big hot pink and lime green polka dots on it. The gifts will all have lime green bows on them too.

Neither my husband nor I grew up with Santa wrapping gifts. So Santa continued that tradition with our son ........ Until our son sat on Santa's knee one year and asked him if he would please wrap his gifts. Santa said that he would speak with Mrs. Santa about that --- she apparently decided that would be OK to do. But I'll bet it was a headache to wrap that little pool table one year.

Our son is 25 now --- Santa has backed off of the wrapping.

Santa wraps presents here as well. As we were walking through Target the other day my youngest said "Hey, Santa has all that same wrapping paper at the North Pole." The other shoppers in that aisle just looked at her and seemed to wait for my repsonse. All I could say was "yes he does."

She is 8 and still believes. I thought last year that she no longer believed but I guess Santa proved he knew more of what she wanted.

Santa leaves gifts wrapped in special Santa paper (which we get at the end of the year and hide, so it is never available in stores the next year). Wrapping paper fits in empty suitcases ;-)

I grew up with Santa gifts unwrapped and continued to do that with my kids. I loved it when they were little and would walk into the living room and it looked like a toy store. 3 years ago I started wrapping Santa gifts with different paper then what was under the tree. I have their first initial hanging off of the gift so they know which is theirs. They both no longer believe now :(

Santa drops off the presents, but Mommy wraps them because I like it that way. Thats how it was with my family growing up and that is how I roll too :)

In our house, Santa wraps his presents in plain brown craft paper with our childrens names on them in black sharpie marker....each child has a symbol that dates back to when they weren't able to read their name and could look for the star, heart or tree to identify their gifts. :lovestruc

I love the simplicity and it helps those special santa gifts stand out from the other family gifts. :santa:
