santa cruz villa

I have seen a villa which is situated at Santa Cruz.
I know nothing of this area and wondered if anyone had ever stayed here and is it as convenient to Disney as I am led to believe?
Also, is there good access to other things like restaurants and convenience stores?

Don't know the estate myself but this map shows it to down on the US27 which means it will be very straightforward to get to the parks via I4

Santa Cruz is a small development on US 27 about a mile north of Walgreens drugstore. This drugstore is where you turn on to County Road 54 (AKA the Ronald Reagan Parkway!) which is a shortcut across to Interstate 4.

To reach I4 you drive through Champions Gate which has a new shopping development (Publix, MacDonalds, videos, Chinese etc. etc) and out the other side to I4 junction 58.

Santa Cruz is probably about 10 minutes drive from WDW going this way. 30 minutes from Universal.

To be honest, there's nothing within walking distance, but there's plenty of shops and fast food places in the vicinity ie within a 2 mile drive.
