Does anyone else find an elderly gentleman who breaks and enters your house, eats your treats and parks feral animals on your roof a tad spooky?

Santa has always come down an unsecured chimney in every house I lived in, so no breaking and entering. That's why the chimney is there.

We always had to reassure our older son that "No, Santa is not coming down the hall to look at you while you are sleeping." He took "you better watch out......." literally.
