Can we order from the lunch menu even if it is during the dinner hours ? We are not a very adventurous food eating family but we want to try the bread service.

If all you want to try is the bread service you can order it at the Sanaa lounge without needing a reservation

You can order the bread service at dinner time. There is no requirement surrounding how much food you must order to have a table at dinner. If you want to experience Sanaa at dinner and order appetizers/bread service and drinks, that is perfectly okay. I'm not sure why you are being told something else.

Just FYI, the bread service is amazing!

The Bread Service is available at both lunch and dinner. If you are wondering about ordering entrees like the sandwiches or the burger that are on just the lunch menu, most likely they will not be available at dinner since all of the ingredients for the lunch specific items would have been put away and not readily available in the kitchen. If nothing on the dinner menu appeals you can just have the Bread Service and if you are still hungry have the rest of your dinner elsewhere. You can order as little or as much as you wish so if you just want to try the Bread Service that's fine.

Yes it's available at lunch and can be a meal in itself. And like SnowWhiteOz said, you can order the full Sanna menu at the bar w/o a reservation. If you keep the ressie, you are more than welcome to just order the bread service apps and dessert if that's all you desire.
It's wonderful btw.

We were just there last week for dinner and ordered the bread service... it was so good !!!

The kitchens change over and meal prep is different between lunch and dinner, so there's a pretty good chance they won't be able to accommodate your request. However, as others mentioned the bread service is available at both lunch and dinner. Also, Sanaa is not as adventurous as some might think. It's very americanized and if you tell your waiter what you're trying to stay away from/what you like, I've found them to be great at helping non adventurous eaters in our group find something they're really happy with. The butter chicken is fantastic!

If it's the use of the table service dining credit that has you concerned - I would just pay OOP for the bread service and apps/desserts for a lighter meal. (Well, sorta light, LOL!) On our last trip, we paid OOP for one meal there once anyway b/c it wasn't a good value on the dining plan for what we wanted to order and we HAD to have the bread service.

1) Most eateries will not allow lunch or dinner items to be served other than during that meal tie.
2) Once kitchens are changed over for another meal, it is too confusing--costly-wasteful for Kitchen Staff.
3) If one wants something from another menu, they should go during that time period.
4) As for bread service at Sanaa, lunch and dinner do have bread service (Naan) at both meals, but they are just a little different for each.

We didn't realize just how big the bread service is! It could easily be a meal for one. You could also share bread service and ask for the steak plain or an adult portion of one of the kid's menu offerings.

As CMPH says, you can pay OOP for a light meal there and save the credit- maybe to step up a different dinner to a signature. There are steakhouses that will be comfortable for cautious eaters.
