Sanjaya's Got To Go!!!

ALready happened, last week. And it only made him more creepy.

I think its the eyebrows. :scared1:

Good call on the eyebrows! As far as the hat goes, it might help if he wore a one that didn't smash his ears down on the sides...so geeky! And I'm always looking at him thinking "Could he possibly fit any more makeup on that pasty white complexion of his?". Dude's got to go!

Eyebrows and the big round eyes...........stop playing the damn camera.......spoooooky.......

The Today show is about to do a segment on Sanjaya (and the 'movement' behind him staying).

Looks like Howard Stern is on the bandwagon also.

Does anyone else notice that everytime Ryan says that Sanjaya is safe, he looks disappointed, not relieved. Like he knows he's out of his league & doesn't really want to come back.

Does Blake remind anyone of Robin Williams? I don't know why but I always think of Robin when I see Blake.

He reminds me of Nosterafu!!!!!!

OMG, that's almost exactly what I have been saying since day 1. I actually sent a picture of the vampire from Salem's Lot to a couple of my friends yesterday with the caption, Phil after midnight. It was mean, but he really is creepy. And the makeup, yikes!

Yes! I always think that too! It looks like he could be his son or something.

Look, let's be honest, Brandon was not going to win anyway. He was not that good. His days were numbered anyhow. It really does not matter what order they get voted out as long as the best are around at the end. Yes you can argue that Brandon was better than Sanjaya, and I agree with that, but in the end it really does not matter.

Poor kid, give him a break.

I also blame the judges. He is no better or worse NOW than he was in Hollywood, yet they put him through. It's like they set him up.

I actually feel really bad for this kid. He must know how badly people want to see him get the boot, and that's got to be horrible for a 17 year old who is a shy teen to begin with. Talk about pressure and humiliation.

Last night he looked like he was going to cry, and I felt so sad for him. At this point, he probably wants to go as badly as we want him to.

I just wish the judges would give him a break and not pound him into the ground like they do. It's clearly not his fault he's still there.

I can't STAND him and everytime they say his name I cringe!

It sounds like a dirty word!

:lmao:

Mothers of teenage girls: PLEASE take away thier phones on voting night!!!!!

I just can't take anymore of Sanjaya's "singing"!

I just don't see it, if I was in the teeny movement I would be all over CR or even Blake!

Sanjaya obviously is finding himself with this competition...and now his sister is letting it all hang out!

V, are we even sure that isn't the sister on stage.....?

(ie.. Nice curls and earrings)

I think the kid does realize he's in over his head. He's not a bad singer; he's just not at the level of quality for this competition.

Maybe it's nerves from performing in front of a large crowd. At the audition there was just Simon, Paula, and Randy (plus the camera crew), and during holiday week the other semifinalists. Now, there's a larger studio audience plus the viewers at home. He obviously did well enough through Hollywood week that the judges saw something in him.

Part of me also would like to see him gone before the Bon Jovi mentor/theme week. Not only would his style clash with most of Bon Jovi's material, but (a) Chris Sligh would definitely handle any inevitable "hair band" remarks much better than Sanjaya, and (b) I would sincerely hope he wouldn't choose "Blaze of Glory", because if he does and does poorly I don't think even Paula could resist the obvious comment on the lyrics.

What in the world is going on?????????????

This guy (?) is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I blame Paula, Randy and Simon for putting him through so far!!!!

Please join me, won't you!!!!!

He's gotta go!!!!!!!!!

Yes he sucks, yes he should have gone before now, but not sure how you blame the judges. It's been the fans voting for a few weeks now, not the judges. I do think he sounded good at the beginning, but now everyone else is way over his head, but it's the fans fault who are calling him and voting to keep him in.

I wonder if the system would ever change? Let's say for the sake of discussion, it got oddly popular, in a joking way, to call in and keep him in, and he made it to the final 3 or 2...Would Idol change the way the contestants get voted out? Or would they sing their tune that it's America's Idol?

Until we have a cap on the votes, there will always be contestants that advance further than we would like. I say, each telephone line should be limited to the number of votes that is the same as the number of contestants. So this week, each line should have only been allowed 12 votes. I think this would encourage the average viewer to actually vote their alloted amount and make the competition less biased

However, this is a television show and I am sure that the producers love this type of contraversy.

All I want to know is, why is it that guys always end up with the prettier hair than girls? I'd kill for his hair---it'd look better on my head than his. Really. :rotfl:

Having said that, AI really needs to change the voting structure because it's getting ridiculous. I'd rather vote to kick a person out than keep one in. Then I actually might put some votes in!
