For the “we don’t know if Lakeside Lodge will be a DVC resort” contingent: https://dvcfan.com/dvc-resorts/details-emerge-for-disneys-lakeshore-lodge/
That's a very carefully worded quote. In particular, it does not say it will be "part of" DVC so much as Members will have access to it.For the “we don’t know if Lakeside Lodge will be a DVC resort” contingent: https://dvcfan.com/dvc-resorts/details-emerge-for-disneys-lakeshore-lodge/
They changed the article since I first read it. Glad that Bill Diercksen at least made a vague comment now.For the “we don’t know if Lakeside Lodge will be a DVC resort” contingent: https://dvcfan.com/dvc-resorts/details-emerge-for-disneys-lakeshore-lodge/
I agree with your assessment. That's a very carefully worded quote. In particular, it does not say it will be "part of" DVC so much as Members will have access to it.
I am 100% confident that this wording is only because they can't legally advertise it as part of DVC yet. I don't think there has ever been any doubt that this is a mixed-use resort exactly as it was originally described prior to the lockdown.
Do we think it’ll be easier to check into the MM party tomorrow at the park gates at 7, or from inside the park at 6?
Any guesses as to what is in the "Peaks" at the very top of roof line? Counting from the left side, peak is facing left also. Third building has even the smaller peak way up on top of buildings. Fourth building up top, restaurant, Grand Villa? For the “we don’t know if Lakeside Lodge will be a DVC resort” contingent: https://dvcfan.com/dvc-resorts/details-emerge-for-disneys-lakeshore-lodge/
I will leave it to those more qualified than me to speculate.Any guesses as to what is in the "Peaks" at the very top of roof line? Counting from the left side, peak is facing left also. It was very easy to check in at the AK MM inside the park. Since this was my one and only MM party, I don't have anything to compare it with.
Okay thanks! Pretty much no wait?It was very easy to check in at the AK MM inside the park. Since this was my one and only MM party, I don't have anything to compare it with.
Thanks for posting, Astro. For the “we don’t know if Lakeside Lodge will be a DVC resort” contingent: https://dvcfan.com/dvc-resorts/details-emerge-for-disneys-lakeshore-lodge/
It’s going to be a MASSIVE resort…. now let’s see about the quality of the materials. Thanks for posting, Astro.
I'm usually an optmist but I could not help myself with the final thoughts (sales pitch) in the article:
Don't get me wrong. I hope it is uniquely differentiated from the other resorts. At the moment I see
- Disney Lakeshore Lodge is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing Disney Vacation Club developments in years Umh I'm not sure. It is one of the larger room developments in recent years.
- Its combination of prime location (transportation options boat and bus for a whole lot of guests), immersive storytelling (ok), and new accommodation types (will the lake lodges be that much different than the WL cabins) could make it a standout option for Members and renters alike.
There was no wait when went to the designated pick up spot. We were there as soon as they started handng out wristbands. Enjoy the party.Okay thanks! Pretty much no wait?
In fairness, it's been two years since the last one, so it qualifies by default. They didn't say how many years, and two qualifies as "years". And it is only "one of" the most intriguing, not "the most".Disney Lakeshore Lodge is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing Disney Vacation Club developments in years Umh I'm not sure. That’s a tough one. I’d give the edge to Ohana cause stitch and family style, more enjoyable with kids that way.1900 Park Fare or ‘Ohana for brunch?
