Has anyone taken a form of transportation from Sanford to Disney? How was the cost?

We took Tiffany Towncar from Sanford to POR in 2001. There were 6 of us so figured we needed a van. The cost was quoted at $190 r/t. They showed up in a beautiful stretch limo!! I'm not sure it the price is the same now or not. You could check their website.

FYI -- rental car prices have been dropping so you might want to check those as an alternative. We're flying in to SFB on 6/18 and have an Intermediate car thru Hertz at a weekly rate of $122. Dollar has $119 but they don't allow you to drop-off a car after-hours like Hertz does (we have a 6:45 a.m. return flight and the rental counters don't open until 8:00 a.m.)

Of course, rental car prices vary by date but they often come down as your date approaches. I originally had a weekly rate of $179 thru Dollar, then I rebooked at $163, then just within the past 2 weeks Hertz suddenly offered a $138 rate, then Dollar dropped to $119, then Hertz dropped to $122. It pays to keep checking (and there's no charge to reserve a car and then change/cancel as often as you like).
