Sanford to Disney

I am thinking of flying into Sanford but need to work out getting to Disney. (We can fly direct from our home town which I will love!) What Town Cars (or whatever else there is) have people been pleased with? Thanks so much for your help.

You can rent a car, renting for one day with a drop off at WDW and then reversing it going home is probably the cheapest way to go.

Sanford is at least twice the distance from WDW as MCO so the fares are more expensive.

FL Tours, a board sponsor, picks up at Sanford.

A frequent poster Edd is an individual driver. Some people like dealing with a company and some people like to deal directly with the person performing the service.

Amyy-I just found a $4 fare one way from my hometown of Wichita to Orlando Sanford. We've never flown into this airport but for the rate we couldn't turn it down. I rented a compact car to be picked up at Sanford for 6 days and returned to WDW Car Care Center for a total of $114. PM me if you need any help! Jennifer

Obviously $4 isn't anything close to a profitable fare. Allegiant has already said July 7 will be the last flight, I'm not sure if they can/will stop service sooner.

All airlines, particularly LCC, are looking to discontinue (or reduce) service between cities that have low bookings or only sell out with discounted fares.

I don't know of any pending reduction at Huntinton, WV. You could do a google search every so often and see what comes up. The fact that they haven't cut service July 7 doesn't mean they won't be cutting service between now and Nov.
