Whats the best option getting to WDW from Sanford airport?
Town car, Taxi, Uber, Shuttle? How have others done it?

Where are you staying? If you are staying at the Swan and Dolphin you can rent a car and drop it there. Renting a car will be cheaper than paying for a shuttle.

I don't know about SOG but no parking fees at BC or WL. Or even if you drive to a park if staying OP.

You can definitely book rental cars for an hour, a day, a week, or longer. Have you tried pricing out two one-way rentals and seeing what the cost is?

Folks are telling you the "cheapest way to get there" is to rent a car.
As stated above, you can rent for less than a day and return it on Disney property -- no parking fee. Then rent for less than a day to return to Sanford.
