Sandcastle Club/Children's Activity Centers ???

Hello,

Excited to say that our family is having its very first disney vacation in October 2017. There areally two 3.5 y/o in the group. I was looking to gain more information than what's posted on the website about the sandcastle club in particular, but i will take any information on the children's activity centers. Has anyone used them? Did the kids like them? What do they do and what's included? How long do they operate until? Are they safe ? It seems like a good option for 1 or 2 nights of child free time, we are just slightly nervous about leaving them in a strange place, with people we don't know.

They are AMAZING!! We dropped off my son last trip to Simba's Playhouse so we could have a nice adult dinner. He cried because he had to go and then begged to go back the next night when we picked him up. I believe they run 4:00pm to midnight. They cost $15/hr per child, but I think it gets cheaper if you bring two kids. The $15 includes dinner! There is a minimum of two hours.

Simbas clubhouse I would say was similar to a fancy daycare room. Pretty much any toy you could imagine including movies to watch and video game systems for older kids. The cast members do a great job playing with the kids. I would say it's super safe. We had to bring id to pick him up, and it had to match the id we used to drop him off.

I would totally recommend them, and for the price it's just about the same as taking them to dinner with you, but you get some peace and they still have a blast. We used them when my son was six and seven. Wished we had discovered them earlier.

Your kids must be fully potty trained to go.
