SANDALS for plantar fasciitis?

I sell shoes for a living and I think you should look into Merrells. They have many styles to choose from. Check out their info on Q-Form.

Good luck

I bought Orthaheels and like them as well as Spenco Polysorb flip flops. I like the Spenco's more than Orthaheel. I've also put orthotics inside of my Mary Jane style Crocs.

I purchased the Orthoheels from Zappos.com

They ship overnight, free delivery as well as free return shipping. I was hesitant to order online but they encouraged me to purchase 2 sizes , try them on and then return the pair that didn't fit.

Good luck.

I suffer from the same malady, and I only wear Ecco's. I have two pair of Cosmo II's, and I've worn them all over Disney in Florida, Paris, and SoCal. I wore them all over Paris and London - lots and lots of walking. I love them!

Go to a surgical supply store, they have orthotics that work, I have been using them since I came back from WDW. But try to see a podiatrist before you go sometimes it requiers a cotrtisone shot. This may save you alot of pain and aggrivation.

I just bought the orthoheels off of Amazon due to this boards suggestions, they say it takes a few days to break in I can tell I need to break them in they are bit stiff but it appears they will work well for me:tinker:

I LOVE mine. I hope they work well for you. :goodvibes

I like my Sketcher sandals...adjustable straps and great support. Also, roll your foot over a frozen water bottle before you start out your day and also in the evening. Feels great and helps with PF pain.

I have the same problem and have had great luck with Cole Hahn sandals with the Nike air soles. Lots of support and very comfortable

I have had this in both feet at different times over the years and am lucky enough not to be suffering anymore. Whatever you choose, break it in before you go. New shoes are a disaster at DW even if your feet are in good shape. Do the stretching exercises I hope your doctor has taught you to do. Get off your feet and rest whenever possible and use anti-inflammatories as prescribed. I have done a whole week there when my PF was at its worse. It can be done :cool1:

Are there any real stores that sell orthoheels? I'd love to go and try them on, they look really great.

I bought my DD13 a pair of speedo flip flops at Sams yesterday which seem like "knock of orthoheels" same look as the wave. She would go the whole week in old navy flips if I let her, but I insisted that she get something better.

My last 2 trips I've worn crocs crocsband flip and they have been really good for walking all day, very supportive. I have noticed though that they wear out and feel a lot less supportive. I wore my older pair at 6 flags the other day and they weren't as good. I ordered a new pair last night, but I want one more pair of different ones (thinking orthoheels vs. fit flops).

Oh and BTW Shoebuy does not carry orthoheel or fitflops, but they have crocs and teva and clarks and some other shoes mentioned in this thread and they have 20% off this weekend.
