Believe me - I thought about asking for more FP's!! But everyone else seemed happy with the one FP they were giving out per person , so I didn't want to be the jerk!!

So..... I logged onto MDE the other day (at 78 days out) and was prompted to personalize our Magic Bands for January. Interesting, since I thought once you got a set of MB's they were good trip after trip... Maybe not, since they are still only in the testing phase. IDK. So I proceeded to go ahead an personalize them, we all picked the same colors as before. What can I say, we are creatures of habit! Then I started looking around in MDE and it shows our first set of MB's as still being activated... There is a place to deactivate them. Not sure what to think. Other than I think I will leave the original ones activated and take both sets of MB's with us. Just to be safe!

So, then I start thinking since I can personalize my MB's then maybe I can pick our FP+!! But nope, it looks like that can't be done until 60 days out... You can click to make them, but then a calendar pops up, sort of like when you are making ADR's online, showing how far out they can be made. And right now it only goes through the beginning of January. It looks like I have a couple more weeks before I can do that!

I'm the Mom of 2 Disney boys too which is how I got started reading your TR's. ( although mine are a bit older). Loved the place you stayed in Clearwater - it looked really nice.

Just popping by as I'm gearing up for a trip...we leave Thursday. My 8-year old said this morning 3 days till Disney! I'm proud!! LOL. This is just a quick trip since no school on Fri., fly down Thurs., and back on Monday. Staying at POR for the first time.

Oh my an hour sitting in POTC. I'd have to agree you should've received more than one FP. Reminds me of the time we were stuck on the monorail for a similar length of time, and I think they gave like 3 each.

Ooooo....I love coming into a TR late! It's just like finding a new series of books that has a dozen books out already....I can sit down and just read and read without having to wait! Great TR so far!

Now I have to wait like everyone else....

getting stuck on pirates sucks. One time when i was in Disneyland I was in a boat that got stuck at the first drop and we had to be pushed by a cast member to get us going again. For the rest of the ride we were the only ones in the ride. When we came back to the start there was a huge line of pel in front of us.

No fun to be stuck on a ride, especially one that is difficult to unload. We were stuck on Splash the year before, had to climb out of the log & get on the side to walk out.

I wish they would have let us unload!! Beleive me, we were ready and willing to step into the water just to get out of there. Once they turned the lights on we could see that the water was not deep at all.

At the end of it when started chanting the CM's name that pushed us over the drop. Sh was up in the control room and waved at us but looked a little embarrassed too.

Holy smokes! I can't believe that you were stuck for a whole hour on Pirates of the Caribbean. I can only imagine how tired you were of hearing the music and announcements after such a long time.
