BOG looks beautiful and the food really looks great!! What kind of sauce was on your chicken? Do you remember?
Is it really big inside the restaurant there? I know there are different rooms to dine in. I am going to have to make an ADR there on our next trip, just for Belle to see her Beast.

Well except for Ursula. She's just Nasty.

I didn't make an ADR for BOG in January, but we may see if we can pop in there for lunch!

I'm glad you posted a review of BOG. We have fast passes for lunch and ADR's for dinner a few days later. The lunch is on our arrival day, so if we can get from the airport to the WL and then to MK in two hours, we'll get to try lunch, which looks better to me than dinner. If we don't make it then that is fine. We'll just have the dinner. I really just want to see what it looks like inside. I don't care about the food.

Did your DH like his seafood entree?

We did get to do lunch at BOG in July. We only waited about 15 min. to get in- better than I expected.

It is really beautiful in there. I wasn't too impressed with my food though. Everyone said it was good. I don't think anyone else got what I did. I had the ham and cheese sandwich... it was Yuck!!

Your meal at dinner did looked delicious!! I was hoping to get an ADR for Christmas week- but that's not happening LOL

Hmm... I don't really remember. We've never been in the stand-by line. We had the FP+ last December and again in August, plus rode it with regular FP's too. It was definitely longer in December than in August. I kind of remember it being 40 minutes once and 20 minutes another time. You could always hit it first thing if you don't want to use a FP+ on it.

Glad you enjoyed the BOG pics! I didn't make an ADR for it for January. My ADR day for Janaury was actually before our August trip, so we didn't know if we were going to like it or not. It would probably be pretty hard to get one now, so I'm not even going to try. I know I got up a 6am 180 days out for a client and couldn't even get her the time she wanted at BOG. I guess the newness hasn't worn off yet!

We're hoping to be able to do lunch there in Janaury.

After dinner we headed back outside, and it was still raining. DH and I put our ponchos back on and the kids decided to tough it out!

We took a peak at the Mine Train construction and then the kids decided to ride the Tea Cups since the line was pretty short.

From there we went over to Tomorrowland. Space had a long wait, so we decided to skip it for this night and do it on our other MK day. We rode the TTA and then Buzz, it was about a 20 minute wait. All the waits were longer than expected. MK on Wednesday night is usually very slow. So between this and the rain it was kind of disappointing.

The rain had let up some for the moment, so we headed back across Main Street and over to Adventureland. We knew the JC was closed for refurbishment, but we wanted to do POTC.

We stopped for some castle pics while it wasn't raining!!

Of course DS couldn't have the camera without taking one of these...

POTC didn't have much of a wait luckily! But, that is right where our luck ran out.

We got on the ride and were having a great time, but when we got to the room with all the fires and the guy with the nasty foot, the boat stopped. An announcement came on and we thought it was kind of cool to be stuck there for a few minutes. The music continued to play. Seemed much louder now that the boat wasn't moving. A CM made an announcement VERY LOUDLY "Ladies and Gentlemen, Ladies and Gentlemen, Ladies and Gentlemen, your boat has come to a stop, please stay in your boat, the ride will start up momentarily", blah blah blah. And again, and again, and again. Then he changed up his announcement a bit and it was more like this, "Attention All Pirates, Attention All Pirates, Attention All Pirates", and then the usual your boat has come to a stop, please stay in your seats, something about powering up soon, etc.... Then the lights turn on. Then the music stopped. And the announcement continued to come on every few minutes. It was completely crazy!! This went on for an entire hour!!

Then finally we got moving. Finished the ride and were about to pull up to the dock, we were so close we could see it, and then we stopped again. We could see the CM's, and they were telling us that a boat was stuck and they were apologizing, but they wouldn't let us get off. We sat another 10 minutes.



We finally got moving again and got off and were each given a FP to be used in MK anytime over the next week. Oh my gosh!! I felt like we should have gotten about 5 of those each!!

I had about had it with the whole night. How long it had taken us to get to MK and almost missing our FP+, the weather, the crowds, and now this. The only bright point of the evening had been Be Our Guest!!

Good Lord. I knew about the POTC fiasco. It just was so bad seeing it up close and was worse than I imagined!!! The attention all pirates attention all pirates schtick would have made me go insane.
When you texted to say you were stuck next to Hairy Leg we all thought it was fun, until you said you'd been there for an hour. Holy crap.

And yeah what the heck. One FP. They must be smoking the crack pipe thinking that was good compensation to have to be near and dear to ole Hairy. Buncha dummies. Instead of POTC you should re name it PTSD since that's what it caused you to have. (No, not Post Traumatic Stress Disorder…. Pirate Terror Stress Disorder. )

Yep, an hour. On a crowded boat. Of course most times when we go the crowds are so low that they only fill every other seat on the boat. This time we were all crammed in here. FOR AN HOUR!!

All I can say is thank goodness for BOG, Dole Whips, and Wishes - otherwise that whole afternoon would have been a total bust!
