Well, I know what you mean about a TR taking a lot of time and when you have a bunch of stuff going on, it's hard to juggle it all. BUT, I do hope you can manage to find time to keep your TR going. I would really miss reading along. I've pretty much been reading on one of your TRs constantly for about 5 years now. I'll be lost without it!
Thanks Rinky!I'm glad you have enjoyed my TR's over the years. I have this one mostly written out, so no sense in stopping now I guess. It's just adding the pics that takes so much time!
But to answer your question, no I'm not going to do a TR. I mostly took video this time because I want to try making a vacation video, so I don't even have enough pictures to do a TR. Most of the pictures that I took were of CSR since that was our first time staying there.
I'm sad you won't be doing a TR, but I understand. I hope you'll give us a mini report here though.
As for the women on the monorail.... It was pretty hot that day and MK was SOOO crowded!!
There was a HUGE line for the monorail to leave MK in the afternoon because one of them had broken down on the track and the whole system was backed up. So there was a MASSIVE amount of humanity waiting to get on and it was about 85 degrees and we were waiting in the direct sun. Not a pleasant set up. And we waited and waited and waited, and the crowd just kept getting bigger and bigger. When a monorail finally came, people were pushing and stampeding like a bunch of idiots to get on. Well apparently one lady pushed or bumped into this other lady and then she plopped down really fast and took the only open seat in the section of the monorail that we all piled into. Well that ticked the other lady off and so she yelled at her for pushing her and told her that 'you plopped down so **** hard with your big *** that you almost crushed my daughter!' Well then it turned into a full fledged cat fight. Insults were hurled back and forth for a few minutes until a male passenger told them both to shut up. It wasn't pretty.
Wow. That is worse than I had imagined!! I hate when situations like that come about. On the monorail of all places, where there is really no one in authority to stop and take care of it should it become physical or dangerous. 
I hope you had your DD's ears covered!! Oh, please don't ditch your TR. I'm reading along but don't always post. I'd be sad if you didn't finish.

But as it turned out we really wouldn't have needed the FP+, the standby line was only 10-15 minutes. Oh well!

The lovely walk through the International Gateway is the main reason I will miss not staying at an Epcot resort next trip.

.... And fantastic photos! I know the challenge to get the boys to wait in any line to see a character (that's why I LOVE a char. meal) seems like the FP+ was a smart choice on your part.
You are right - character meals are a great solution for that! That's why when the boys asked for Chef Mickey's on the next trip I agreed to it right away - not because I love the food there, but for the character pics! I love walking through an empty WS early in the morning. It's so quiet and peaceful. It is a long walk all the way to Soarin'.
It is amazing how much you can accomplish at RD. Cute pics w the characters.

I read on another thread that they think it might just be for really peak times of year. I hope so bc I don't like ANY of it.
I wish they didn't change FP at all.

Sorry I've been MIA the last few days. You know. Stuff happens.
Anyway--
so guess what I got when I saw your DS14 walking thru the Soarin Line???
The walk thru the WS in the mornings must be just wonderful if you are staying over on that side. I always love to go to Soarin and then go back over to the UK area and sit and have coffee. Perfect.
You got so much done that morning. And can I ask what Pluto was doing behind the big posts? Because it looked like he was taking a fire hydrant break. If I were pluto that's what I would do as much as possible just to mess w the guests.
I can't wait to hear where you ate, because I can't remember and I'm hurting brain cells trying to recall.
Would love to finish before Christmas. 
That's what I love to hear! There were some little kids behind us, I think he was messing around with them! Or yes, he could have been peeing. 
I probably did, because it wasn't very good!! Hint - we always go left in WS and it is in the first country... I think they are going to continue the tiered system until the My Magic is rolled out to all guests, not just WDW resort guests. It makes the FP distribution more even for everyone I guess. So we could be looking at this tiered system for awhile.
