Not seeing a lot of reviews on this, but have always heard good things...what is the real story.

Advice please

If you use the search function you should find many threads with opinions on Sanaa. We think this is one of the best non signature restaurants on property. But you might want to rethink this if members of your group are picky eaters who do not enjoy Indian and African spices and flavors.

Sanaa has become one of our favorite restaurants in the World, and is perhaps the best non-Signature restaurant on property. The prices are relatively benign, the service genuine and good, and the food is excellent. The na'an bread appetizer is worth the price of admission alone, but the tomato soup with Paneer cheese is also very good. Any tandoori entree is topnotch; many swear by the butter chicken; I personally enjoy the lamb shank. Finally, though the wine list isn't extensive, it's very good and showcases lovely S. African wines. My advice? Go.

I have this booked for the first time this fall because of reviews like the ones above! I can't wait to try it!

Yes. We have been twice, once for lunch and once for dinner both times excellent. Going again in December

I don't think I've ever seen a negative review, including mine. I've also eaten there for both lunch and dinner. I prefer lunchtime because it's quieter, and because I prefer the tandoori offerings at lunch-the tandoori sandwiches on pita bread.

I went for lunch with DH and it was fantastic. It was quiet. Service was friendly. The food was very good and they had a really nice wine list. And we could watch the giraffes out the windows! Like PPs have said, the bread service is great. But I also agree with the PP who said really picky eaters might have a problem. Just check out the menu first and make sure everyone will be happy. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/animal-kingdom-villas-kidani/sanaa/menus/

We loved everything about Sanaa and are going back! Also fabulous options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. :)

The negative reviews, and there aren't many, mostly revolve around the fact that the food was too spicy or too exotic for a diner's taste, though we've not found it to be either. There are the occasional stories of mediocre service, but one can find that at any given restaurant on any given day. Overall, Sanaa has proven to be a winner from service and food standpoints the past few years.

100% yes! We go there every trip. If it wasn't so far out of the way we would go there twice for sure! It is our favorite.

My and DD13 wanted to go but I guess they really cut back their menu and they no longer serve chicken vindaloo. This is what we like so now we have to pass *sniffles*

Yes, definitely go! The menu sounds a little unique but the staff explained everything & made us feel very comfortable. Has become one of our favorites, & we have plans to go again!

Do you like Indian food at all? You will like this s lot. The bread service was the highlight for us, the butter chicken was pretty good. The Durban wasn't nearly as spicy as we'd hoped. The meal took a really long time, like 2 hours. Not sure why.

Overall, we really enjoyed it.

I'm going to say absolutely, positively, do NOT go there.

So that I have less competition for a window table. :) Seriously, we love it...it's our new favorite. The naan bread is just out of this world.

Sorry but I would never recommend this restaurant. We had terrible food, sent two of the three dinners back they were so bad. The manager came over to talk to us but didn't offer any options for the returned meals. Had reservations and still waited 30 minutes for the table which was a surprise since there were many empty tables visible while we waited. Service was ridiculously slow -- gave up trying to flag down a waiter just to get a drink -- and as I said before there were plenty of empty tables. Think twice before you go here.
