Will be going to Sanaa for the first time. What’s the best things to order?
They do order them from mildest to spiciest. When you promptly forget which they are, at least you have an idea how much spice you're going for.Be warned, the spreads for the naan vary from mildly sweet to super spicy. Your server will explain what they all are, but don't forget!

The sauces mix in great with the rice from the entrees, too.
That's if you're only slightly mean. Truly evil people mix all the little cups into random order. What you do is when someone gets up to go to the restroom, turn the tray around!![]()
Amen! I must've went back for one of these every night of my tripAdding an African Starr mojito![]()
Ditto! Bread service and butter chicken! We always order the bread service, my husband and I will split the Potjie inspired, and then order a candy bar, which is no longer on the menu, but has still been available to order. I find ordering any more food than that is way too much and we can't eat it all. My two kids were also a fan of both the bread service and the butter chicken.
Dd loved the BOG breakfast and requested it for this year- gone. Then I did my homework and decided sleepy hollow seemed like a good deal, then I read about the recent changes. Why can’t we have nice things?!!!Less than 10 years ago we had our first meal at Sanaa. The bread service was $10.50 lol! Came with your choice of 5 breads and 3 spreads, or for $12.99 you could have all 9 spreads included. That price was $9.99/$12.49 a few months prior. It was a downright fantastic deal back those days. In 2018 it had jumped to $18 and removed the lower priced option.
Today it’s still a decent price at $22 considering locally restaurants here charge $4 to $6 for each piece non-plain breads and that’s without accompaniment. It just had a bigger wow factor back in the cheaper days when Sanaa wasn’t so popular and it was much easier to land a window table.
I sound like an old personBring back my BoG QS lunches for well under $20 a head and DDP 1QS credit pre-park open $30 breakfast with bonus $15 mimosa! Sometimes you don’t realize how good you’ve got it until it’s gone. We became fans of Sleepy Hollow waffles… now that’s altered. Same with Satuli Canteen. Major downgrade for the beef. Oh well gotta keep an eye out for the new best thing. <end rant>
